"It was a hot evening and it was very busy outside but we had booked inside where it was cooler and quieter. We ordered our meal which we didn't have to wait too long for. Unfortunately they bought the starter and main course together and...suggested we ate the main course first which we refused to do. They took our main course course away (duck). We thought they'd probably keep it warm and that it would be dried out by the time we came to eat. To be fair it wasn't dried out but was only luke warm. The food was okay and the staff were extremely friendly. Hopefully this was a one off as I'm sure we will give them another chance when in the area again."

Well positioned, popular pub with nice outdoor space, new(ish) balcony terrace; catering to both casual and finer dining. Stylish upstairs restaurant. Phenomenal pizzas, tapas and pub fare. A lovely local business with great staff and atmosphere.

Visited the Station House for my partner’s surprise birthday celebration. The care, patience and flexibility shown by all the staff, together with the excellent menu and service, was much appreciated by everyone who was fortunate enough to attend

Enjoyed a lovely family lunch. Good choice on the menu. We opted for a fish special as starter and pizza, burger and salad for mains. The staff were friendly and helpful. And selected the best red wine to go with our meal. Great atmosphere. We...will be back.

eating was good, but when the bill came, they did not see the offer on the menu. After they showed the error, they returned with a revised bill, higher then before! the excuse was that they did not consider 12.5% of the service or never went back again, dishonest is the one I can't stand.

Went for dinner with friends on a Friday night. Decor is very stylish. Unfortunately, service from our main server was unfriendly and slow. Food was nice enough but chips were cold and came out with the scotched egg, rather than with the pizza. Was looking...forward to the visit but was left disappointed and will not be returning.

We booked our table in advance to watch the final of the European league, they called just in the morning to say they no longer will show the game because neighbors complained( Also the woman said that they put an advise on the website, which...is not true as I verified and on the website it says to book to watch the game! Luckily we found another place to watch it, but for sure they are not serious enough. Plus, very rude in how she spoke to us.

"If you live in or visit Hanwell you must take a lazy walk down by the locks and build up an appetite before heading to the W7 Emporium. It’s a little white door by a crappy old man pub sat next to a small florist. Open the door and the atmosphere is straight away comfortable, your away from the street and simply relaxed and at home. The staff are friendly and offer as much banter as you want to be involved with so this is nice and a change from the branded offerings. The furniture is mix and match and the space light and airy so it fits well with Hanwells vibe and there is an outdoor space for the summer. The menu I would describe as funky modern Mediterranean, and there are no sausages which for me can be an issue. But if I’m being 100% honest I couldn’t care less here, the options here are well thought and imaginative. If you want a fry up there are other places in Hanwell to get one but if you want a Mexican there is only one place and that’s here. Ok I’ve given away my ultimate fave thing on the menu it’s what I have and it’s spot on. Poached eggs, nice bread, salad, crispy bacon, avocado and spicy sauce all out together and presented beautifully. So here we go it’s hands down the best place in Hanwell and if you want wine with brunch that’s fine because they serve that too. Have a couple then walk back to the canal and enjoy the afternoon whatever the season it’s a regular weekend jaunt and a compromise between a fry up for me and something healthy for the wife. In the eternal battle of good verses evil the Emporium emerges victorious every time."
