We ladies who lunch love this pub, the food is always delicious, the staff are brilliant having to put up with us.

This is the best Christmas lunch around. the cabbage and leek is world wide. Best Xmas Dinner every thing is hot and nothing is too much trouble

Great hosts and excellent food catering well for our vegetarians and carnivores alike. The Talisman beer on offer was much appreciated and well kept. Ver carta

Fantastic warm welcome for us and the dogs. We were early for dinner but hungry so they kindly opened the kitchen for us. Excellent food in a cosy setting. We would highly recommend.

Sadly the attitude of the gentleman (I use that term lightly) behind the bar was not very nice. He snapped at someone who asked for a tea, saying he does not employ a barista. He was very short with us when we asked a question, we left and went elsewhere Ver carta

Such a lovely pub! The owners were so friendly, chatty and welcoming with us and our two boys and made us feel extremely welcome. Their dogs were great! Fitted 6 of us in at last minute. Food was amazing, quick and tasty, staff were great. Would deffo recommend

After numerous fantastic Sunday lunches at The Stumble Inn, decided to book for New Years Eve. Wow, what a meal. 5 courses which were all fantastic and for £40 each was a bargain. This was no budget menu lots of choices for all courses including fillet steak which was one of the best hubby had ever eaten. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We had a dining voucher as a Wedding Gift for the Stumble Inn, we live locally and have dined before…but not on a Sunday Lunch. The menu was appealing and lots of good choice , today we opted for the breaded mushrooms it was tasty indeed, hot, plenty of (strong) garlic mayonnaise and a colourful side salad. Main course we had a Lamb Roast a Beef Roast outstanding plates, meats tender and melt in the mouth with roasties and a carrot swede mash. Good portions of side vegetables also, flavoursome and plentiful. Staff were attentive, friendly and welcoming. Prices very reasonable and fitting for the current food costs situation nationwide.
