The Sunday lunch at this restaurant is absolutely amazing. They use top quality fresh ingredients and their desserts are especially delicious.

Huge portions, well cooked meal, good choices and a reasonable price. The staff were very nice and accommodated our wierd choices. Highly recommended

This place is more like a decent pub than just a restaurant. When I visited, they had Greene King IPA, Abbot, and Deuchars IPA on tap. The bar staff were friendly, but maybe...

Such a disappointment. Had a burger topped with cheese and bacon. I waited 30 minutes. The steak was over overcooked. A piece of coal in a bun and I desperately tried to find where the cheese was. With a foster, I paid more than 20 GBP... it must be a joke!

Hello. Another visit for a little celebration. We had the alcove all to ourselves. Great service and attention. Did not have to wait long for food or drinks. Delicious food and good portions. Id recommend the IPA and non alcoholic Guiness if not a drinker. It tasted like the real thing. A very friendly pub. Thank you! Ver carta

I went for Sunday Dinner. I had trouble finding an unbooked table but just as I decided I was not going to eat after all I found a table in the snug. I put my book on the table to reserve it, ordered my meal and told the server at the bar that I had a table. But then I went down to the snug to find the table had been given to a couple, better than a solo eh?, and my book had been removed by the server. I was left with no choice except to go out into the garden. The food was mostly OK but the vegatables were cold. Particulary the Broccoli that seemed to have been served straight from the fridge. Unlikely to get my custom for meals ever again.

Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely people. A large group of family and friends visited the Three Crowns on a Saturday afternoon over the Easter weekend and having originally booked a large table inside for 15 plus people inside, the weather perked up and we were desperate to sit outside in their charming beer garden! Despite the upheaval Kris and Bobbi’s team were so accommodating and didn’t mind one bit. The food was superb in terms of quality but also value. A proper portion! I had the steak baguette which was ridiculously good and couldn’t help but dip into my daughter’s breaded chicken from the children’s menu! The Guinness was exceptional too which is always a good barometer of a good pub!...

The landlady was extremely rude when politely asked what time the heaters would be turned on : her response was full of attitude “they won’t be” “I’d prefer not to turn the heaters on in July” “it’s really not that cold outside” a simple question did not deserve the passive aggressiveness we were met with and keeping in mind we were at this pub on Friday outside and the heaters were turned on hence why we were under the impression they would be turned on at some point. Also may I add that whilst yes it is July we have had rain throughout the day and it was not warm outside at all. Other customers we spoke with also agreed it was cold.
