"The atmosphere is fantastic, with a truly unique English-style pub vibe. Unfortunately, the food and table service fell short of expectations. The waiting staff seemed to operate at their own pace, making us feel guilty whenever we requested something like water or wine. It was also hard to identify who the staff were in the restaurant. When we expressed our dissatisfaction with an incomplete meal and inedible food, we were told that no one else had complained that day, with no offer of an apology. As noted in other reviews, several menu items were unavailable during peak hours. The food itself was disappointing; the potatoes were undercooked and the meat was tough. It's such a shame because I really wanted this to be a special occasion. It has the potential to be an exceptional place, but we won't be returning."

Very friendly service sat outside for drinks then ate indoors Food good apart from a steak that one of the party had that was a bit tough It was very quiet which was a shame for a sat night and affected the atmosphere Lovely garden would go back again

Booked for an anniversary celebration. One of the main dishes was unavailable. We ordered a bottle of wine, to then be told it was unavailable. Obviously we then selected a more expensive one. The waiter then said the original one was available. During the meal we had to ask for cutlery 3-4 times. As glasses and plates were used they were not collected by waiting staff. Average food at best.
