Very enjoyable lunch with very good friend both had ham eggs chips and an excellent jam sponge with ice cream all told service,food,real ale all very good and will be returning in the near future.

Bring my Dad here and they are so nice to him, making him feel welcome . Spotlessly clean, good Beer and nice simple food done well that my Dad and myself enjoy. Always chatty and friendly and look forward to coming each time. Ver carta

I've been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while now! We tried the full breakfast and bacon sandwiches with coffees. Everything was perfect - the bacon was cooked just the way I like it. The coffee was good and the service was quick and the staff were friendly. I will definitely be returning.

Food was excellent this morning, and always has been. Food here is fab, we've even rebooked for Tuesday I feel safe as Covid rules are strictly in place. Lovely to see staff (Sue) go above and beyond for someone elderly that needed help, whilst...being subtle at the same time. Making hard times easier, thank you all x

First time ever eating from here. I ordered roast dinners from here for myself and my mother for mother's day, and picked them up. They were ready bang on time and I was greeted by a lovely polite member of staff. The meals were...absolutely gorgeous, my mother really enjoyed hers too. And the selection of vegetables were beautiful. We cannot wait for the next one! Ver carta

I have visited this restaurant many times and have never had any issues. The menu is simple but delicious, and the food is always cooked perfectly. The staff are friendly, and there is a decent selection of drinks available. There was a large event happening during one of my visits, but the staff did a fantastic job of managing it and ensuring that it did not disrupt the other diners.

I ordered Pepsi Max on tap and it was extremely flat. When I asked for a replacement, the new one was also flat. I showed the bartender, and she mentioned she had been drinking from a bottle of Diet Coke, which I did not order. It was concerning that she had been drinking from a used bottle. I decided to switch to cans instead, even though they would likely be cheaper. The bartender claimed the cans were more expensive, which was not true. Overall, it was a disappointing first visit.

My husband and I recently had the Sunday lunch carvery at the Tiltyard, and it was excellent. There was a choice of ham, beef or turkey (or all three), all of which were really tender, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Last week we...had our line dancing Christmas lunch there. There were of us and the service was great. Again, the carvery, prepared by AJ, was excellent, and everyone who had starters or desserts commented on how good they were, particularly the trifles, which were home made by Sue, and apparently contained an appreciative amount of sherry . Everyone said how much they’d enjoyed their lunch. It really couldn’t be faulted. Thank you to all the staff. Ver carta
