The Trading House - Carta

I really enjoy the atmosphere at this restaurant. The food is good, they have a nice selection of beer, and the service is excellent. I have been here several times and I will definitely be back!

Lately, this restaurant has been a popular spot for client lunches. Unfortunately, on Friday there was a limited selection on the menu and the service was well below expectations. It was disappointing and I am not sure if I will come back again.

Had a brilliant night here with a family celebration. Food was superb, the hanging kebabs….wow. Very reasonably priced. The decor is fantastic and fits in so well within this area of London. Could not fault this place and would highly recommend. Ver carta

Amazing meal, came with my family for a late afternoon lunch, the venue is beautiful, spotlessly clean and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the Camembert and the Hot board both stand out dishes. Micha and her team were amazing and so attentive. Cant wait to return again soon

Heard about this place through a friend and decided to give it a go. It's incredible! Beautiful decor, great drinks and the food was yum! Definitely joining my favourites' list. Worth a visit if you're around bank and are looking for a chill place with great hospitality and atmosphere!

I had a pleasant lunch at a seemingly bustling restaurant. The service was friendly, polite, and efficient. The food, although limited to sandwiches, was good. I would recommend this place for casual dining. The bar had a stylish look, and the overall atmosphere was enhanced by some nice touches. Ver carta

This is a wonderful looking bar/restaurant in the city. What was disappointing was the food and service. The steak and Stilton pie was lacking in meat and was mostly gravy. The chicken kebab was average and also disappointing. The service lacked sincerity, was expecting far better than this on first impressions.

Visited for a work Xmas lunch. Food wasnt great but it's a bar so you accept that. At 2.30 we had to give up the table, which was fair enough, and we were pointed to the bar area. At 5pm our group of 20 were asked to leave...which was bizarre. It's a bar...it wasn't busy...people were still wandering in off the street but they told us we didn't have a reservation so had to leave. Given we were just in the open area by the bar, had spent 5 hours in there, it was a bit surreal and we assumed that if we reminded them we were still there from lunch we would receive an apology. Nope...time up....out.

I only came in for a drink, but stayed for 2 as for the whole first pint, me and my companions were just looking around and forgot to interact with each other. I liked that it was a fairly inconspicuous door in a plain wall, and then you walk into a cavernous, but opulent space. It really is a beautiful building to spend time in, every inch of it even down the spiral stairs to the gents toilets! The beer selection is pretty basic, a couple of craft options, but it's the same couple of craft options you'll find in the next pub. And the one after that. There were a couple of cocktails that sounded interesting, and about average prices for the area. This wasn't a cocktail day though, and so it... Ver carta
