Excellent service and food very friendly and accommodating, we were here for a family meal, I was thrilled, really tasty food and extremely friendly service

We visited for a family meal today and had a lovely time. We were greeted warmly by the staff when we arrived and they were very attentive to our needs during our meal. We all had Sunday roast which was lovely. I would highly recommend...to anyone thinking of visiting this delightful venue.

We booked here last minute as a party of We had missed the Sunday roast so all had pies which were delicious. We did ask for chips but the waitress forgot to write this down so had mashed potato which was equally as good...and much more healthy. The vegetables were perfect. Always a good standard of food and service.

very friendly courtesy staff. very clean and tidy. in the week we had two meal times in the opposite of the fish plate and steak pee were excellent. then had another night fish and chips that we both felt a little disappointed than not as good as. previous fish we had seemed a little watery, which the teig a little soaked.

A real joy, true to its name! The staff were super friendly and chatty which made it a really lovely visit. We both had the moules frites and I can honestly say they were the best we've ever had, and we've had a few! Cornish...mussels, big and sweet, perfectly cooked in the most delicious wine and cream sauce. Thank you, a great find.

returning from a trip to portsmouth back to the chichester caravan and camping club site, we called to see if they still serve their Sunday roasts. we hadn't booked, but were in luck. service was fast, finished with a smile. and efficient. all items were available and the prices were reasonable. the food was good (although I would have liked a little more truthahn as a carnivore, I felt short as my wife had more than I had! the main restaurant part was full, so we did not have any problem in the bar area. we would eat there in future definitiw.

I've made excellent experiences in the past with this facility and this time was so excellent. the personal, service, quality of food and in fact the amount of food presented by the excellent chefs speaks for themselves. these places are few and far...between when I stay in the camping and caravan club just next door, I know that I don't have to cook. excellent! we have booked days for dinner or evening dinner over ostars and if all were excellent! could not make a starter or a whisper as the main thing is huge and we can go on a bit! so it can not consume so much! best work, well done!

We pre booked a birthday meal for people, arrived and a very rude and abrupt and unnecessary defensive woman said you only booked we cant do it so we said we would be happy sitting outside to be told well you will...have to pay as you go then we then had to show emails confirming we had Luckily a young man stepped in to deal with their issue as it should have been dealt with. They did give us a complimentary bottle of wine and we sat outside and were very happy. The roast was really nice and it arrived quickly and was hot. After booking a table for persons at we arrived to find no table prepared for us.In fact a single gentleman was asked to move whilst eating so that a table could be made ready. When presented with menus we were told that the...Turkey was not available.....ok. Drinks ordered( although the Argentine Malbec at a bottle was given a miss) we awaited our Roast lamb, beef and I x nut roast. After a reasonable wait, dinners were served. To say that the portions were meagre would be an understatement, but the quality of the food was, at best, poor. The lamb had probably been put aside earlier in the day, as too fatty and tough.
