We have been a few times now food excellent and good portions, and they let us bring our dachund , friendly staff, we will be back again.

Never been bedore. Fab food and good meal for all which made our afternoon with old friends even more enjoyable. The steak and kidney pudding was amazing

The food was tasty, plenty of it, plus very good value for the amount paid £35) for a 3 course meal for 2 inc of a large wine and coke. Staff were very pleasant and attentive without being in your face. Would definitely recommend eating here.

I visited the restaurant last night for dinner with my son. The staff was friendly and very attentive, and we were seated right away. We both enjoyed a three-course meal, which was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the steak pudding and the fish and chips. We will definitely be back!

I had my baby shower here, and it was an amazing experience! The staff and the owner were wonderful. We were able to drop off decorations, balloons, and the cake the night before, and the staff set everything up for us. The room looked absolutely beautiful! Thank you so much, ladies! that was the second year when we had Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and yet again we had a fabulous meal. the food was absolutely delicious and the service was super, very friendly and nothing was too much annoyed for the workers who went beyond and beyond to help me how I had a badly broken ankle. a great thank you to all staff for a very pleasant experience. I think it's safe to say that this is my favorite pub restaurant and would recommend it to everyone.

This was our first time visiting, as we are relocating to the area. I have to say, the food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. They did have a problem with the cellar due to the weather, but I can't hold that against them—it’s just one of those things! In fact, it gives us another reason to return (which we were already planning to do after enjoying such a delightful dinner) to sample some of the local draft ales. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.

I highly recommend visiting this restaurant! The staff is friendly, and the food is excellent with generous portions at very reasonable prices. If you're looking for home-cooked meals rather than pre-packaged options, this is the place to be! I had the meat lasagna, which was delightful, accompanied by garlic bread and a salad. My friend ordered the "drunken pot," and you could really tell that the meat was slow-cooked to perfection—so tender! It was served with mashed potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and a sweet side.
