"The Sunday Lunch was fantastic. The food was of high quality and the portions were generous, especially with the extra gravy. Yulia was welcoming, efficient, and helpful. Despite the pub being busy, we didn't have to wait long for our meal. We were delighted with the delicious plate of food, which was cooked perfectly and nicely presented. The pub was bustling both inside and in the garden on the hot day. I would definitely recommend this place and will be returning in the future."

Really good place to park car and walk, run cycle or take a boat along canal paths or rivers. Plenty of pub or cafe options. Will be back with my bike soon.

The restaurant is located by the River Trent with a great view. The staff is friendly and there are romantic walks by the river and a nice outdoor seating area.

We went on a lovely sunny Sunday for a meal. I had fish chips and my friends burger chips. With some cold ciders. It took them over an 1 hour to serve the food (guessing because it was busy) but it was lovely, massive portions too. Lovely place to eat and relax on sunny days.

Food was lovely, a little bit pricey but worth the money. However the soft drinks were extortionate. It was actually cheaper to have a beer than spend over £4 on a bottle of coke or a J20. Genuinely just couldn't justify the price so ordered water which was disappointing which was a shame as the food was nice.

Update, as apparently I now have to let my 7 year old daughter review as Trent lock don't take criticism. You can get a better burger from the McDonald's pound saver menu. Flat as a pancake and just a few slices of lettuce. A Guinea pig would have turned away from the salad, a few dry carrot sticks and a strip of pepper.
