Came for breakfast on sat morning before heading out mountain biking. Went to the bar, wasn't acknowledged so sat down for 10 minutes, no one came to serve so went back to the bar and asked if anyone was serving. She then took my order. Was given tea with a tea pot with no lid then waited half an hour for breakfast and nothing arrived. I then went to the bar to ask if they had forgotten about me, they said it was on the way. 5 mins later the young waitress came to my table to say there was a shortage, which was a lie as she had given my breakfast to someone else which I pointed out to her and she agreed, so I walked out. Absolutely awful experience and will never return .

We were excited to try this place based on the positive reviews but sad to say it’s incredibly overrated. Upon arriving to an *empty* restaurant, we were shown seats next to the toilets and asked if they were okay. I’m not usually particular about where we sit but as we were seemingly given the option, thought I’d see if we could be seated somewhere else, perhaps next to a window. The waitress politely declined, stating that they were extremely busy tonight. Why ask if the table is acceptable if you’re not willing to offer an alternative?
