Food was inedible. Sauce in the meal was full of curry powder. Not an experience I’d care to repeat. Lot of money for nothing

Visited with my husband and son last week for the valentines menu. Fabulous set menu with a selection of delicious starters. Huge portions of chicken and lamb mains. They also made an extra side of chips for our son.

We had a perfect lunch in the idyllic garden. Very delicious shared vegetarian platter and a couple of side dishes. Highly recommended and looking forward to our next visit. The curried beetroot chutney was absolutely delectable! Ver carta

Food and service is top notch Not your standard Indian restaurant, slightly more refined but not pretentious We all had different dishes (5 of us) and everyone really enjoyed Lamb Chicken and prawn dishes Breads, sag aloo and rice all somehow better than 90% of the Indian restaurants I’ve visited and I like a curry !

I did not expect to be charged £50.20 for 2 kormas, a bhuna, mushroom rice, pilau rice, garlic naan and plain naan. This is a rake away by the way !! We started our order online noting £38 as the cost but decided to phone it through. Imagine my shock when I'm told it's £50.20 but there's discount so it dropped to £45. There's me thinking this food must be absolutely amazing. Don't get me wrong, it was nice but it was not £50 worth of food. Gutted

I have had a few take away meals from The Vine Spice and enjoyed them, so my wife and I treated friends to a meal at the restaurant there. Sadly and surprisingly I was extremely disappointed. One of our friend 's found that the chicken in their meal was undercooked (it was still pale pink and highlighted this to staff. It was taken away and a replacement given. The chicken in this was cooked fine, but the sauce was now much more watery and lacked flavour due to this (the other had a nice, thick creamy sauce . My wife and I are both vegan and member of staff taking our order didn 't seem too sure what this meant. During our meal, we had 3 different members of staff coming up asking us the sam... Ver carta
