"I visited with three friends last week and we were all impressed with the authentic feel of an old building with modern fittings, the welcoming staff and the choice of menu.I had the toad in the hole which was a huge portion ,well cooked and with a very tasty gravy. My friends opted for a simpler meal with a baked potato and filling and we're also very satisfied.I should be happy to recommend anybody to try this quality establishment out ."

very welcoming and accommodating, we had the Sunday afternoon carousel, which was very tasty, only served in the amount of cracks with the pig. beer was of a good choice and tasted good.

Great place with vegan options, friendly service and fresh food, and not frozen burgers like everywhere around. In the menu there is vegan pizza, vegan homemade beetroot burger, aubergine in clay and some starters. Nice decor and atmosphere

We only had a couple of drinks sat outside , the staff were smiley, friendly and helpful. Good service and always a member of staff checking to see if you wanted anything. Our dogs were given a water bowl and offered treats which was nice. The menu looked good and the food looked nice when brought out to other tables. Would definitely come again to try the food.

Amazing. Service is just as lovely as the food. Would really recommend. We had the bread for starters fresh warm focaccia with butter, roasted garlic and the best balsamic and oil I've ever had ha! We then had the fishcakes and prawn pad Thai from the specials board again delicious! To finish, the hazelnut creme brulee and the Berry crumble No photos sorry but Will return when back in the area
