"30.5.2019 Met up with a friend having a long chat over a bottle of wine, staff were brilliant, great atmosphere, nice to hang out on the balcony putting the world to rights. 25.5.2019 Update : finally came to test out the food with family and friends, the one night it seems most of my street came to try the food. I had the lamb burger with chips and my partner had the lamb shank which we both enjoyed. Staff tonight even under pressure were attentive, friendly and efficient. What a wonderful atmosphere, so nice to see friends who came separately to celebrate their 25 years of marriage. Well done to the Managers and the staff who helped to make a wonderful memory. _________________________________ So nice to have a traditional bar back where it belongs. In a fabulous spot, scenic and balcony views of the river. Serves a great selection of beers, wines and spirits. Haven't yet sampled menue, so far wonderful deco, staff have been welcoming and friendly Understanding early days but first impressions are good, it's nice to see the community supporting this new business in Barnes. I am sure l look forward to many an evening here."

The best location for a pub for miles around the balcony in the sun is blissful. The staff is amazing and the craftsmen are always worth a try. Love it.

Very nice cosy atmosphere and nice surroundings, the Watermans Burger was excellent and great chips! The Craft beer and choice was superb. Service friendly and timely 5 star experience :

We’ve been here several times on different occasions. Never got disappointed. Friendly staff, great drinks selection, good food and quick service even on a busy evening. Highly recommend.

I like the selection of the ales most. although I fought at this visit to satisfy my palate. excellent pub on two levels. I'm using upstairs to eat with my family. only handle is the beer on the expensive side. next time the woman pays.

we had an excellent service at the watermans on Saturday night and could enjoy delicious food as well as beautiful drinks. the offer of beer is extensive and they know how to pour a perfect gin tonic. re food, the calamari is to die. this is a professional pub that combines warmth and friendliness with an unfamiliar performance. highly recommended. probably the best pub in barnes.

The restaurant is conveniently situated next to the Thames, offering dining options on both the ground floor and first floor. There is also a balcony on the first floor that provides views of the river, as well as a terrace on the ground floor. However, the terrace is positioned too low to see the Thames clearly. The menu is reasonably priced for this part of outer London, and the food was well-prepared and served in a timely manner.
