"I recently revisited this restaurant for the first time since 1979, and it was like a trip down memory lane. The food was just as good as I remembered, with a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious meals. While the days of chicken in a basket with onion rings may be gone (which was always my favorite), every dish we tried was excellent. Our group of six enjoyed a delicious lunch, with my personal favorite being the liver and bacon with mash and gravy. It was absolutely delicious! The restaurant was also good value for the quality of food and service we received. I highly recommend checking it out, but be aware that the sat nav may lead you down some ridiculously tiny Cornish roads if you choose to visit."

Took the family. The mushroom stroganoff was oily and tasted of something, but not stroganoff! The fish and chips were average at best. Sadly the food has gone down hill, fast. The venue still looks beautiful. Beer good.

My wife and I visited on a midweek lunchtime whilst travelling from Cornwall to Plymouth. Although not very busy (it was a Wednesday in March after all), we were made nicely welcome by the Barmaid. The bar and restaurant were cosy, and being quite a...

Whilst out for a dog walk we called in for a drink. Being respectful to diners we sat outside with the dogs. It’s a shame that outside seems so unkept and un welcoming. Dead plants in baskets, fag buts surrounding and litter wedged between the benches. The ground looked like it hadn’t ever seen a brush! Not the most inviting but we didn’t have much choice whilst on foot! At least my husband enjoyed the tribute!

What a wonderful place, we celebrated our anniversary here and was made welcome straight away. Amanda was the first person we met and she greeted us with a warm welcome straightaway. Molly of the evening and weekends was lovely to chat too and make you feel at home. Locals all lovely and chatty . Food was delicious especially the roast. accomadation fresh and clean. Just could of had some bottles of water in the room. Other than that amazing . Well done Trina Neil you’ve definitely got a gem!

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
