During payment at the bar, he told me that cash tips were preferred, but as we were foreign visitors without British currency, it created an awkward situation at the end of an unremarkable meal. The restaurant is too expensive. While I appreciate that they use locally sourced ingredients, the prices do not align with customer expectations. Charging £5 for a pint and £4.25 for an apple juice is excessive.

I had a wonderful dinner last night at this restaurant. The home cooked food was delicious and the breakfast this morning was also fantastic. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would highly recommend this place for a nice dine-in experience. The price per person was around £50-£60, but the quality of the food and service definitely made it worth it. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.
