"Staff were really lovely, the beer garden is beautiful and from what I saw of inside it was nice. Asked about vegan options, there was vegan pasta, pizza or a bean burger. Ordered two bean burgers, only one came out and it was a bacon cheese beef burger. The ‘vegan’ burger was topped with cheese, in what seemed to be a brioche bun, and came with battered onion rings. Also the chips tasted so strongly of fish. I’m not a fussy vegan, but I have an intolerance to dairy which is why I first became vegan and why I order it when I’m out. Had a nice evening with my family and the food has the potential to be so good. I know a lot of chefs don’t like cooking vegetarian food but it could be so easy for them to do a good veggie/vegan option."

Visited on a weekday lunchtime. Sat outside as it was sunny. Enjoyed the chicken and bacon sandwich which came with salad and chips. Service was friendly.

Had a lovely meal with my daughter. Great food, attentive service, good atmosphere and packed on a Thursday evening which is a good sign. This pub has definitely on the rise. Thank you

The family had outstanding meals, the scallops were amazing and my wife's rump steak was cooked perfectly. The pub outside eating area is great and the staff were always there to help.

Came here for Sunday lunch, and both myself and my partner loved it. Food was lovely, and the atmosphere. It's dog friendly too which is a bonus as our little yorkie came with us and also enjoyed it!

I’ve been twice within a few weeks, once for lunch and once for early dinner and I had a beautiful meal both times. Cosy atmosphere, really delicious food and decent portions. The recommended wine was lovely too. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and polite and the manager/owner was fantastic. Will definitely be returning and recommending!

We’d visited this pub before and knew it was an excellent place to eat….but not this time though, Friday 4th June 2021, I ordered Rib eye steak, what I got, was definitely not a Rib eye steak, it was thin and well done even though I’d asked for medium, it was like a bit of shoe leather, they also had no vinegar, such a shame that this happened, we won’t be visiting here in a hurry again

The team couldn’t do enough for us yesterday and right from my original enquiry, they totally over-delivered.Nothing was too much trouble and we really couldn’t have asked for a better venue, better staff, better food, better atmosphere or better people to share it with. The weather definitely helped but the planning and thought they had put in made the day just perfect for us Thanks Des, you did us proud!

Four meals in 3 weeks at The White Horse and they have all been excellent. They also have a good selection of ‘grown up’ alcohol free drinks. Today was a Sunday lunch which was well cooked and accompanied by live music even better. Just one point this is a country pub, not a fast food joint, so don’t expect your freshly cooked meal in 10 minutes! In return for a small wait you will get a great pint, welcoming atmosphere and a lovely meal.

The food at this restaurant is exceptional. I have visited multiple times and have always been satisfied. As a vegetarian, I appreciate that my Sunday lunches are customized to my preferences without any issues. The quality of the food surpasses any other place I have dined at for Sunday lunches. Even my meat-eating friends are impressed with the food. The staff is welcoming and accommodating, creating a great atmosphere in the lovely pub located in a beautiful village. The locals are also friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, this restaurant offers a wonderful dining experience.
