The Staff were very welcoming and professional. They allowed you to feel special. The menu looked initially interesting but the food was of mediocre presentation

The waitress who served us could not have been better, so friendly, so friendly, very beautiful. Some of our decisions were not available, they gave us alternatives and advised us to them. Ver carta

food and service were error-free. my only complaining was that when I booked (2 days before) I did not ask to be at a door as my wife suffers at the cold (bad circulation) we got a table right next to a door. we have asked to be moved, but no other tables have been made available. it spoils the night.

Nice pub/ restaurant, we've been here a number of times, staff and atmosphere great but quality of good this time very average (at best) , portion size small for triple meat dinner and veggies were overdone and dry, chips on another meal were overdone and crunchy , bit disappointed as was looking forward to it, in the past it's been great

‘King’ prawn cocktail was served on a red hot plate. Salt and pepper calamari was just covered it dry paprika! Steak was just fat and gristle and the lamb in the duo was just warm whilst the matching Shepard’s pie was like molten lava! Food was poor throughout but to be fair the staff were very good and took it off the bill. We really like this place, please sort it out. Oh- and get the menu to match the one on the website! Customer service was very disappointing to the point that I do not recommend or want to return this restaurant. The waitress did not take our order correctly. Both beverage orders were wrong. I ordered a chicken cure, but I got a vegan curry. I raised this with the waitress who was not apologetic and did not offer to replace my court. Instead, she came with a piece of chicken on a plate 10 minutes later, at what time I had reluctantly the food she had served. Overall, this culinary experience was negative

The service was exemplary and the ambience in the restaurant warm and welcoming. The food was pretty good and with a few tweaks this could be our new “ go to” local. Just pop a small dressed side salad on with the mains and get your onion rings sorted out beer batter not tempura and piping hot) and you’ll be there. The atmosphere is lovely and staff attentive so no need for kitchen to rush things out. One more thing, get some traditional home made puddings on the menu- syrup sponge, spotted dick, bread and butter.

Arrived. Wait for 10 minutes to ask what we want to drink. Then waited 10 minutes to drink. Then waited so long for our order. Table next to us came after, but still order and receive food before us. The starter was king prawns and it was the smallest part for the price and tasteless. We waited for over 40 minutes. In that time the table that came after us had finished the food there and we stayed. NOTE TO FLOOR OR IN COOK. very disappointed. I ordered a coke for my head and finished my head and coke did not arrive yet and that had to be cancelled as I was tired of waiting. Very bad service. We passed when we were hungry. Ver carta
