Very welcoming, staff were pleasant,clean and presentable. The food was very tasty. The only fault was how clean the toilets were.

We had a great experience with Shyann as our waitress today, really friendly and helpful. Chefs at the deck were also very friendly.

Lovely carvery as always. Good selection and everything was full up and fresh even though it was a Sunday evening. Good service Maddy was polite and efficient and very friendly.

This is the second time we have been in here to eat while visiting our Granddaughter who is in university in Southampton find it exceptional as our Granddaughter has allergies they bend over backwards to help from cooking her veg separately to making special gravy couldn't ask for better service the food is gorgeous Ver carta

We had a party of 10 for my mom's birthday at this restaurant. The service was excellent, with all the staff being attentive and helpful. We all ordered the carvery and thought the meat was delicious. However, the roast potatoes were tough and challenging to cut, and the Yorkshire pudding was overly crispy and fell apart easily when trying to cut into it.

Had special 2 course lunch on weekday. Shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff who quickly brought our ordered drinks. Our starter of cheesy mushrooms with garlic bread was delicious as we're our mains of salmon and prawn Wellington with our chosen vegetables. My daughter in law chose gammon with perfectly cooked eggs and fries which was also scrumptious. We will be back.

This lovely pub is located on the River Itchen and offers a spacious restaurant with a daily carvery, breakfast options, brunches, and a great menu for bar meals. They now also offer takeaway options. In the bar, you can enjoy an interesting nibbles board, including treats for your furry friends. There is a wide selection of beers and lagers available.
