Menu and bar menu to choose from. Best to ring as you may need to book. The village is stunning with little walks around a small river and cottages. Very atmospheric and peaceful. One other pub next door which is about to open and also has restaurant. It has been closed for some time and has been refurbished to a high standard. Small tearoom which looks quaint and small village car park."

Popped in for lunch today and was welcomed by the landlord and very pleasant staff. Great atmosphere, very dog friendly and Moreish homebrewed ale. Great service with free banter. Will definitely return soon.

We stayed nearby and visited the pub several times. We were warmly welcomed by everyone. The food we had was excellent, especially the fish, which was some of the best I've had in a long time. Since we were there during the bank holiday weekend, there was fantastic entertainment. Tim, the owner, was incredibly polite and even offered to drive us back to our campsite at the end of the night. We highly recommend this place and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful time!
