Great staff really helpful service was great, the prices here are really reasonable as well, great all together

Went to have drinks with friends, nice atmosphere, clean and tidy, friendly bar staff with good service. One of my go to pubs.

A marvellous pre gig meal served in a friendly welcoming pub. Excellent accessibility for wheelchairs tasty filling and great value. Mac and cheese was amazing Ver carta

Lovely to sit by the canal basin in the sun! Staff were lovely and friendly. We were in Lincoln for three days and we went there every day for drinks or food or both.

Absolutely terrible place wouldn't recommend at all the manager and workers on shift seem useless and like they knew nothing at all. You had one member of staff sat down for majority of the time I was in there.

Called in for a drink whilst shopping in Lincoln Friendly pub, great beer prices and quality. Amy, one of the bar staff was very welcoming and attentive to our requests and even came over to the table to check all was good. Very professional. Will definitely return, Ver carta

Good food, a lot to offer for ‘pub grub’, very prompt with service. Good for watching live sports with pool tables. Quite busy on a Saturday, other customers during eating someone would tap you on the shoulder to ask when you are done to come get them. Would suggest the need for a front of house service to prevent this from occurring

Average sort of place with a good selection of beers. Food was decent enough and would use again. However, I must mention the miserable girl? with the blue hair who decided to just slam the condiments tray onto our table without a word and with a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp. Maybe some charisma training wouldn’t go amiss.m? Apart from that, yeah, decent boozer.

I don 't typically like to leave bad reviews as I understand the impact it can have on a business, but I feel so strongly about this situation that I feel it is necessary. I visited The William Foster in Lincoln and had the most awful experience. The manager in that pub is awful for trying to accommodate simple requests. The organisation within this company is atrocious, and I have still yet to hear back from them regarding my complaint. I had emailed the pub and asked for my complaint to be passed to higher management (since the person I had a bad experience with was the responsible manager at the time) and I had a reply from said person.
