The Willows - Carta

We visited for lunch and had an excellent meal with exceptional service. Ryan, the supervisor, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant!

The hotel and pub by Marston's is excellent. The food and drinks are tasty, the staff is friendly, and the rooms are comfortable. The prices for the food and drink are reasonable. James provided outstanding service. Highly recommend.

Late booking, and arrived late afternoon. Super service at reception and to the room… not a twin, no fuss or bother. Room changed and new pass key and sorted. After a long day of driving and work we were greeted by Carmen, explained clearly how we could check into the hotel side of the location then not only gave us the best service but also supported her kitchen staff by making our pizzas. We had reserved a table for the 5 of us and on arrival someone behind the bar just waved in the general direction of the pub and told us to find one ourselves, there was no waiter service so had to go to the bar to order drinks and food, the food was over an hour from ordering we were then running late for our theatre visit so had to rush the food and leave some of the drinks, it has definitely gone downhill since our last visit, probably won’t return which is a shame it used to be really good.

Terrible service, we reserved a table and when we arrived the general area of the table was pointed at. I had to go in search of a children's menu because none was given to me or available at the table. On going to the bar to order every single person /group behind me was served prior to myself until there was no one else at the bar to serve. The food was ok and arrived quickly but a large rowdy group was sat next to us making conversation impossible and we left as soon as we had finished eating. Won't be going back Ver carta

Service wasn't great, couldn't find a kids menu until I was ordering, didn't have either of our choices of food. When the food arrived, the kids chicken dippers looked very overcooked, and the beans obviously overcooked and microwaved. The adult mains were ok. Then one of the staff thought it was OK to start moving chairs to stack right behind where my husband was sat and kept bumping his chair, (we didn't respond) then she said f*ck me as she walked away within earshot of my child. The little park out the back is nice. Won't return.

I made a reservation for a party of 10 when my family visited from the south. It was a bit last minute, with 6 adults and 4 kids, but we were not disappointed. The food came out quickly, piping hot, and in generous portions. The kids' meals were only £1, making it not only affordable but also very enjoyable. The staff was lovely, helpful, and quick to clean up after our meal. The restaurant was very clean, including the immaculate toilets. It is evident that they have a great team of staff. Well done to all of you. We will definitely be returning!

I got home from work today and my mum, who had been looking after my little lad, said she couldn't be arsed cooking so did we want to go to the Willows for a burger. It was a no brainer. I picked the Mrs up and mum picked my dad up on the way. We all just fancied a drink and a burger, except my lad who loves cheesy pasta! So we ordered 4 Cowboy burgers (2 3oz burgers, bacon and cheese on a toasted linseed bun) a starter portion of mac n cheese (mac n cheese, bbq sauce and crispy onions) We were told before we ordered they had 3 big tables so there might be a bit of a wait, which to us was perfectly fine.
