I tried the delicious steak and ale pie from the specials board and we were full for the rest of the evening. Fantastic genuine pub. Really good menu, friendly staff, great choice of ales, dogs allowed and even the local cat pops. If you were to imagine the perfect pub, this would be it.

What a super Sunday roast today. Very tasty, massive portion, tender meat. massive yorkshire pudding and heaps of veggies. super service thank you PJ and others. You were all super.

My food was amazing, everything for me was cooked perfectly.(I had roast pork) we had to wait a fair bit to be served, which considering it was fairly quiet when we arrived was unexpected. The staff were lovely. The meal was fairly priced.

A really nice pub in a lovely village green location with plenty of parking around. Arrived here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon after a long enjoyable day of walking locally. Very good choice of beers/wines and we decided to stay for a Sunday roast which was plentiful and excellent! An added bonus was that staff and customers were very friendly!
