nice lunch in woodspeen again. birthday party for our very good friends. excellent attention of alex, andre and team as usual. can not wait to go back.

The food was impeccable, the service was swift, warm and unobtrusive and the jazz that was playing encapsulated the whole experience a deft blend of classic and modern. Even before our food arrived I knew it would be excellent simply from watching Chef Eaton...through the oversized pass, calmly and expertly conducting his team. Exceptionally good.

Brilliant lunch today. Booked because Coppa Club in Streatley so unfriendly. Wonderful welcome, super service, wonderful wine waiter who knew so much about wines pairing with food. We had the beef Wellington. oh my so terrific and I want to know the recipe for the...Jus. Just so so brilliant. Thank you so much for our wonderful wedding anniversary there

we have visited the woodspeen a few times and appreciate the food and service every time more. the front of the house staff is friendly, attentive and great when mixing a drink. eating does not fail to impress both in presentation and taste. our favorite...is still the beef-sorti, but all the important we have tried were amazing. cannot wait to return! we enjoy eating in london, but the woodspeen keeps us closer to home with the same standard of food.

Fantastic food, amazing cocktails, beautiful setting and exceptional service! Can’t fault anything from our visit to the woodspeen, we live local but this was our first visit to the woodspeen and will definitely be returning time and time again now! The staff were amazing sorting...out all my dietary requirements and I didn’t feel like I missed out on the experience or food quality with the dietary alterations, which I have done at some restaurants in the past…. Also for a Michelin star restaurant it was reasonably priced! Can’t wait for our next visit!

My wife and I have been eating here since the restaurant first opened and it's always been a special treat but on this occasion we were really disappointed. Firstly my wife had to nurse her coat all evening in the bar and then at the...table, whereas a table on our right had their blazers and coats taken before sitting down! The food portions have got a lot smaller and the wow factor has been lost. The staff are not as attentive as they once were and the attention to detail has gone. For my wifes upcoming birthday I think I will take her to our local pub where we get a better service.

we visited a Sunday dinner with family and what a great foundation. from the beautiful environment, a modern, bright, airy restaurant, attentive service and delicious food. our table tried various dishes from the a la carte menu, including the crab risotto, smoked salmon for...Starter, and then we had two roast beef, monks and the cod and all were delicious. Food generally at the level expected, started with scallops with pork cheek, a chicken and black pudding terrine, and pigeon breast a real highlight. Mains lamb to die for and ribeye, excellent. Puddings good, rhubarb was wonderful. Just a slightly disappointing drink experience, as a...dry drinker. An alcohol free beer should be the bare minimum now, and expected to find one but no, just a 0.4% version. Also having eaten recently at Home with James Sommerin, and enjoyed a range of non alcoholic wines, surprised to see none on the expansive wine list. Even Petrus has a non alcoholic fizz. 4 of us, family members yesterday had a late 80th birthday dinner for me here. the restaurant is light and airy, although full it did not feel crowded at all. there was a good selection of items in the menu. Two of us had the...crab risotto as starter and that was amazing. so we are flavored and cooked for perfection. we will not forget that for a long, long time you have the most important courses, 2 of lamb, 1 of mönchsschwanz, and 1 ricotta and spinach cake were all excellent. well cooked and very tastefully just 2 of us had place for sweets, 1 with the chocolate parfait and the other had ice.
