Absolutely amazing pub, beer and food spot. Went for quiz Thursday night and staff unbelievably attentive and plesent. The gammon was best I have ever had, all enjoyed the food and atmosphere and will definitely return.

The place itself is nice, the food is amazing both in diversity and taste though portion size could be better. I have never heard a bad word about it would highly recommend the whole experience. They hold a great quiz too. Ver carta

Fabulous food. Great service. Definitely a must try. Staff were lovely and the meals were well worth the money. Plenty on the plates, we couldn’t eat it all which is a shame as it was lovely. If you haven’t been you should.

Just been tonight … Had to write a review.. It was pint and pie night .. wow The pies were fabulous., served with a smile too Great atmosphere, great service.. good price amazing food .. really well looked after. Can’t recommend enough.. will be back very soon . A real gem of a pub

Gorgeous Sunday lunch made properly, generous portions too. Lovely service and delicious beer. This is a great traditional pub which I would highly recommend. We love this pub for its old English pub feel. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great but the food is not what it used to be. Sadly it tastes and looks bought in, the roast beef dinner was minimal and Yorkshire looked pre-bought in. Gravy was tasteless and roast potatoes were so uniform they surely were bought in. Chocolate pudding nice.

We’ve been to the Woolpack 10+ times now over the last year and we have finally decided it’s our favourite place to eat and drink in Beverley. It’s an all rounder, they seem to hit the nail on the head with the food pricing staffing. It’s also clean, well maintained and the atmosphere feel of the place can’t be beaten. Well done to the owners and especially the team, we have worked in hospitality ourselves for over 15 years between us and we are always impressed with The Woolpack. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Popped into the Woolpack on Wednesday night for a meal and was very disappointed My wife ordered the duck and I ordered the game pie. We had noticed that on the menu there was no mention of vegetables so I asked the waitress if there were any. The waitress said the pie came with peas but there were no veg with the duck. I asked if we could have a side of veg but was told this was not possible The duck arrived which consisted of a small piece of duck, a small square of dauphinois potatoes and a quarter of an onion.
