Three Horseshoes Country Inn

Great country pub, stopped off when doing the Gavin Stacey tour. It was lovely pit stop for the 30 mins enjoy strongbow cider, which I never had before. Anyways I enjoyed it lovely scenery and we saw a few horses as well, which was great.

Very friendly staff, great service. Nothing wrong with the room when staying overnight, and the tea and coffee on offer in the rooms are very nice. The food and drink served downstairs is delicious. Would definitely recommend a visit here

Popped in here after a visit to Barry Island and really enjoyed it overall. Staff were very accommodating depsite joy booking. Food was really good, my steak was average though tbh, but the rest was great. My 6 year old loved the soft play and outdoor park! We'd definitely returned.

Had a great overnight stay at the Three Horseshoes Country Pub. The rooms were very nice and en-suite was even better. The breakfast was 6 star it was amazing, cereals, yogurts fruit, juices they missed nothing out. Full Welsh breakfast was most enjoyable. Brilliant chef. Will visit again because they made you feel welcome. All the staff were friendly. Amazing place.

Room was not as promised as a family room. The bed was very uncomfortable old creaking springs on mattress a restless nights sleep. Extractor fan not working in bathroom. Dust and cobwebs behind tv not cleaned for years filthy. Raised concerns to Manager at checkout (Jacob) displayed a very flippant attitude and told me to take it up with Booking. Com. Will NOT be going there again Manager no Customer Sevice skills poor attitude. Rooms: Not as promised

Wow the pub is beautiful and spotless. Food is amazing! This pub offers kids play area INSIDE AND OUT! There is tables and chairs at back and front of building. Night lights light up outside giving you a lovely summer night out. They are dog friendly and the owner is such a genuine and polite guy. It's located in a lovely location where you can let the kids run free rain or sunshine. Its such a relaxing and calm place and I highly recommend visiting. I look faward to returning for the lovely food. Best pub in Wales!!!!!!

This pub has now had a new kids play area and it's amazing. They have also got an indoor play area too that is amazing. 8 don't drink and don't have any kids but i love going to this pub as my dog is welcome and the atmosphere is lovely. Food is best pub food I have ever had. Owner never fails to appear just to say hello and to thank you for returning. He's such a genuine nice bloke. The pub it only place I go when I want to take 5 minutes away from busy cardiff city. Its location is beautiful and the views from garden are great. The building is out of this world and so clean. I love this pub and will be looking faward to my next visit... Best pub in South Wales!

Was out travelling in the lovely bout of summer weather we were having and decided it would be nice to have a ice glass of wine but we had our 5 year old daughter who is hard to entertain after a little Google search by chance I stumbled on this country pub not knowing what to expect just read child friendly so headed straight here! WOW best family pub in South Wales there wasn't just one play area my daughter had the choice of 3 outdoor play areas to enjoy and an indoor soft play! She was loving her little life the food was lovely I highly recommend the ploughman's platter it went well with a wine The staff were exceptional and very attentive and helpful Will be back again Thankyou
