Lovely Friendly pub. Very dog friendly. Although not the closest pub to us we'll keep popping back!

only beautiful! large small beer garden, clean and well maintained, beautiful workers local and fabulous pizza.

It was ok. Beer garden was as is and the price of drinks, without very much choice, was expensive No rush to come back here.

Wanted food kitchen closed at 7 pm on Saturday only chips very bad on a Saturday night lots of walk ins turned away staff didn't care

for the first time, while for a group walks for refreshments, staff very friendly, pub looks nice, they serve aswell, but we have not stopped eating, we had two dogs with us and they brought a large bowl of water for the dogs and some tasty, very recommended, I plan to go back to try out the food.

Came for a drink and the very popular Sunday Carvery. First impressions was how clean the establishment was! Staff very welcoming and accommodating. The Carvery was phenomenal, fresh, tasty, and cooked to perfection. Had Aperol Spritz from the summer treats board, which was a little jug of heaven, Aperol,Prosecco and Soda, perfect for a sunny afternoon. This pub is a gem! If you in St Ives or surrounding areas, highly recommend you visit.

I think this pub has reopened in autumn after it has been closed for a past. this is a real family business where they feel very welcome from the family scott. the pub is definitiw family oriented and their dogs are welcome. it is the only pub within the small village wistow. not only local villagers visit the pub, but people from nearby places, travel to enjoy the warm hospitality offered. they sell a selection of popular keg lagiers and beer together with 2 Cask-Ales on the train additionally there are low non-alcoholic options for sale. the prices are quite favourable to the contrary. the food is served in certain days and freshly prepared. my meal was very tasty. there is a separate area...

Stopped in this local pub as it looked nice and had been past a few times. The server on the bar was new to the job it seemed, we all have to start somewhere, she made our drinks and gave us menus. We noticed the bar was a bit “sticky” however we sat and read the lunch menu, we then noticed the table was also “sticky” we put it down to the heat reacting with the varnish! I never understand why pubs varnish tables it’s rubbish! Better off covering with a cheap cloth or bare wood treated with oil. Longer lasting and easily restored!!
