Amazing chef. It was a quiet night but he came to talk to us at the end of the meal. Excellent choice of food. Good offers/discount with wines for a month 25% !! We went at 7:30 and a two things on the menu had sold out.

The chef was willing to adapt some things on the menu to suit our tastes. Less batter on the fish. Green veg instead of red cabbage. Ordered a vegetarian meal and waiter checked if egg wash was OK on the mushroom wellington.

We dined at this restaurant during our stay at one of the lodges on the property. There are two menus to choose from: the restaurant menu and the bar menu, both offering a wide variety of dishes. Our meals were served promptly, and everything was delicious. The staff was exceptionally friendly. We would definitely return.

not long ago, as it was amazed by the beautiful renovation, very comfortable and modern. I ordered a drink from the bar and the waitress told me she would bring it to me, I sat in the lounge where a previous costumer had coffee, the waitress came with my drink, but not the coffee cup removed. lunch was very tasty, but needed to put a little hotter, Veg server at the wrong place.

We were staying on site so booked for convenience but were so impressed from friendly greeting on arrival, lovely waiting staff fantastic chefs. It was my dad’s birthday, we all ordered the pie approx 10 mins after ordering 4 starters came out with compliments of the chef as the pies would take approx 25 mins to cook. The pie was delicious, all too full to enjoy dessert but they brought out a slice of cake for dad with Happy Birthday piped in chocolate. Such a nice touch and genuinely lovely staff, thank you you made dad’s day!

Enjoyed our food. Had to wait 45 minutes for our desert's which we felt was unacceptable as the restaurant wasn't overly busy when we booked!! Emily couldn't apologise enough for not getting our desserts to us. We were offered free coffee which we accepted by way of an apology, however, we couldn't drink it as it was too strong, despite us adding numerous amounts of sugar to try and sweeten the taste!! Carvery was of very high standard but could be better organised in where it's situated as whilst we were queueing members of staff were constantly using the side doors to obtain entrance to and from the bar and kitchen!! Serving spoons and/or tongs are definitely needed to plate up our vegetab...
