"What a great pub! My cycling club and I turned up without prior warning, looking for some food and the staff could not have been more welcoming to all 12 of us! Friendly and accommodating, up for a laugh and excellent food at good prices. We will be sure to stop here again if we are ever passing."

Brandon and Ewan, your Sunday roast was fantastic. We had the beef and the nut roast. Everything was freshly cooked, good quality and very tasty. We would definitely return when we're down your way.

We dropped in here for something to eat on a Monday evening. It was very busy- I think that a lot of other places in Hay are closed on Mondays. We had some nice pizza and excellent cider. Staff were a little hassled. Decor uninspiring. Maybe a tad expensive for what it was.
