"Was the third try now and finally the last one. The ice cream isn't special at all, not only the special places in Düsseldorf like Unbehaun or the Eisfabrik in Flingern are better, even my small cafe around the corner outside Düsseldorf has more special...ice-cream. Plus it is quite expensive, an ice cream creation costs around to Euros more than usual. But since the location at the Hauptbahnhof is good and there aren't many cafes there, we tried again. But only rude or very unintelligent people or both work there. This time was the climax though, as the waiter told me in the rudest way I couldn't choose the ice- cream at the front counter because that would take too much time, I would have to order out of the menu without seeing the ice-cream. He then went at his young female colleague right there in front of me (the customer for allowing me to look at their display. I forgive forgotten orders, long waiting time and the homeless people passing by the tables outside. But the rudeness I won't support anymore with a visit."

I was there about a month ago with my wife, we ordered a bit in cones, the staff was nice, the ice creams were not as good as the location of the load. the price was reasonable, so if you don't want to go too far from the main station to have an ice, you might want to visit her.

my friend and I followed two days here, as the situation was very favorable for us. they make a reasonable omelette, but the ice is not fantastic. the service comes with a smile, and they will certainly try their best, despite the...language barrier (most employees don't speak English)

The spaghetti was nicely cooked, i have ordered spaghetti with garlic, red chilli and olive oil. The flavours are amazing. All through my dinner I was looking forward for the desserts. Having read the reviews of others I guess it depends what you want - good ice cream or good service - ideally both, but if you sacrifice one then it has to be the service. This is the third time we have visited Eiscafe Tiamo and we go back for the ice cream!The ice cream is very good and there is a good selection - both as simple ice cream and as confections"The service was nowhere near as bad as some suggest - it could be better, but overall, if you want a good ice cream it is well worth a visit - and it is also very convenient for the Hbf (station)
