"Eaten here twice. First time was okay. This time round, 30 minutes after eating my chicken makhani I ran to the toilet and I’ve never had food poisoning like it. When I reported the situation to the staff, they just stared at me blankly and didn’t seem to understand what I was saying to them. They told me it could have been from anywhere. I made a point of saying I hadn’t eaten that day because I knew I was going out for this meal on the evening, to which they then said they would take mine off the bill. Rude staff and no apology. I’m from Birmingham so near the city, never had rudeness like it or food poisoning like it. After leaving I had to run back into the restaurant to go to the toilet again. I couldn’t even make it home via the 5 minute walk in time the food poisoning was that severe. Just going to mention too, I had a quick peek into your kitchen and oh my lord. Grape stalks just strewn across the sides, like why? I don’t understand. Dirty dishes, dirty sides. Something tells me further round the back is much worse if that’s what I saw within customers view. Very unfortunate as the food tastes good, but the experience following eating it was not, nor was the customer service and treatment I received. Try at your own risk, this place seems a bit pot luck!"

Booked in advance for a large group, arrived at 6pm food came out at 7.50pm. Staff are rude, food was below average Poppadoms brought out that you assumed were part of your meal but then got charged at the end for them. Would not visit again and would not recommend.

Point to note for those who like to round their meal off with a coffee mints), this wasn't available when requested, went to gastro pub over the road to get a caffeine boost instead). Vegetarian options: The chutney tray is all vegetarian moist coconut, mango chutney, a medley of chopped onion, tomato cucumber, mint yogurt and a requested add-on of lime pickle) with plain poppadoms. For mains, we had vegetable biryani, and requested that a side dish matar paneer) be served as a main too, with paratha. Parking: Free parking to the rear of the venue.
