"Beef was served in chunks rather than slices due to it getting to the end of the joint. This should of been replaced as it was inedible. Very small portion of turkey. Food was cold. While queuing to get our Carvery a man who had...already eaten his Carvery came up again and pushed in the line where people were putting there food on there plate to re fill his plate for second servings coughing all over his hands and touching the spoons. He then went back to his table but wasn’t eating the food. The next minute I see him pick a bag up from underneath his table and taking Tupperware pots out of it only to fill them up with the second servings he’d just pushed in line to get! I could not believe it! I told a waitress about this called Natalie . Her response was “oh”. I then saw her go back his table to get his payment and heard her say I’ll see you next week lovely. She clearly new the man which is why he got away with it. I could not believe it. This should not be happening!! He shouldn’t be pushing in line let alone going up to get more food only to take it home!! This waitress should of told him no whether she new him or not!!"

Corked wine, filthy toilets, no vegetables apart from cabbage and peas, inedible pudding, no acknowledgement of complaint

Cheap and cheerful. Beef and pork both of which were tender and tasteful. Staff friendly and obliging. Will certainly return

first rest I ate here in Great Britain. offers unlimited breakfast for less than £5. the first time you try yorkshire pudding and I like it. I wanted the speck to strip and craspier. selection is small, but great.

good value for money. as vegetarian I chose not a meat plate. the creamy kartoffel was the best. also a grilled tomaten with many healthy seeds tasted well. the recovery was average. the plate is large and 1 aid is good enough to fill the mag. we didn't need to refill.

All i have to say is that tony carvery is the place to go if you want good food and brilliant service. Everyone there was so polite and patient and they always had a smile on their face. The food was beautiful i think it...is the best place for a roast and u can’t beat it.

the service was lovely, however i was very disappointed in the food. my turkey was dry. that carrot and potato combo made me gag. it just wasn’t very nice. i also found three hairs in my food. the staff were very polite however didn’t ask...how the food was so i never had opportunity to tell them what was wrong.

Went there this evening for a booked meal the chap who took us too our table was polite and friendly ...... That's all I can say was good about the experience. we were offered drinks (automatically assumed we wanted the refillable drinks) most certainly wasn't...the case for the cost of one drink I could buy eight cans for less and the food wasnt very hot all in fact quite the oppositel the gammon was really salty and pork was over cooked as was the beef we didn't complain earlier as we were pushed for time but the price of two meals and two drinks at nearly was disgusting especially with the quality , we certainly won't be returning

the great British Brat dinner, something that all the inhabitants of this peculiar little island keep near their heart, and even the Picky-Eisser among us are with the numerous elements that compile this classic dish. it was found that this strange compound that the brides have to the good old roasts is intensified in university and the house boiled roast dinner is glorified beyond believe. remember that I had just finished a long time of procrastination chat (with a surprising amount dedicated to dreaming the evening meal) and not enjoy a Sunday lunch since Christmas, when a friend hit, we meet toby carvery for dinner I dinner. read more

"Owner rude and arrogant! And you can’t trust them and they won’t make your order right by just saying too busy to make it right! I called in to make a booking but told no tables available but I could place an order for takeaway so I ordered two gluten free pizzas. I also asked what size are the gluten free pizza crust and was told 11”. I was told I would need to wait 1 hour 30 minutes and I agreed. I ordered the Gluten free 11 “ crust as advised for one Olive Tree and one Garlicky . When I arrived, I asked the person with the pizzas to confirm the gluten free pizzas. She looked a bit worried and said they were not gluten free. I asked the other girl if I would have to wait another 1.5 hrs and she said they would expedite my pizzas. The owner came over and said he had two vegan pizzas for 8:30 pm and I said that is not what I ordered. He said he was too busy to remake the pizzas. He said the girl that took the order said she didn’t remember gluten free was ordered. As a Celiac , those are the first words out of my mouth when I order any food and I also inquired the size of the gluten free crust and frequently they are pre-made and sealed and I was told they are 11”. He would not remake the pizzas as he said he has to trust his staff. So he implies the customer are lying and uses it as an excuse to not make it right. It doesn’t excuse not remaking the pizzas correctly as ordered gluten free as I was told a few minutes earlier. I assured him I ordered both pizzas gluten free and my wife came in and also confirmed as she heard me place the order on the phone. I realize this pizza must be well done and popular but not to remake the pizzas and imply me a liar and refusing to remake them is unprofessional. I find his behavior arrogant, rude and unprofessional and just because he went to Italy to learn how to make pizza doesn’t make him a good owner and manager. Hopefully, he won’t blow off this review but learn from it. Always make it right for your customers! And never insult your customers! It also suggest he doesn’t care about his customers because he is too busy. He walks away and just repeats he has to trust his employees. Poor excuse for not making the pizzas as ordered! Employees can make mistakes and as a Coeliac I will also double check as I did when I came to pick up the pizzas. I would advise Coeliacs to not try these pizzas as you can’t trust them to make them to your order. Peace be with you! Dietary restrictions You cannot trust this place to make your gluten free as ordered and they won’t remake it if they made it wrong and just say I have to trust my staff. Very Poor attitude from an owner and a bit arrogant! Customers don’t appear to be important and must be lying if they get an order wrong."
