Good value for money. Large portions. Good selection of hearty food. Gets very busy on Sundays so better if you book in advance. Plenty of parking to the rear of the building. Food was heavily salted, ‘chefs’ if you can called them that looked dirty and unkept, communicating with the staff was like teaching at a special needs school, I’d rather my family starved than return. We visit this restaurant frequently and have consistently received friendly service. The staff checks in on us two to three times during our meal to ensure everything is to our satisfaction, and we've never had any reason to complain about the food or the service. We prefer going to the Darlington location since the Wolviston one is often too busy and has long wait times for a table. After reading some of the other reviews, I felt compelled to share our experience, as the food is always served hot and is delicious! We've been here for breakfast as a couple and also with our three children, and we wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

The food was outstanding, easily earning a perfect score of 5. The flavors were rich and satisfying, particularly the Sunday Dinner, which I highly recommend. While the atmosphere was quite pleasant, contributing a solid 4 to my overall enjoyment, the service was a bit lacking, scoring a 3.
