This restaurant is amazing with friendly and attentive staff. The food is delicious and well-prepared. The staff should be commended for their excellent service and hospitality. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Probably one of the best Toby carvery’s I’ve visited for a while. I usually go to the south croydon branch as it’s closer to home but the service there is terrible and whilst visiting a friend in Eden park we decided to get a roast. Service is great and the food is hot and tasty

my daughter moved to Sunday dinner, everything was surprisingly good. the meat portions could have been a little bigger and the green beans cooked a little shorter, but over much better than most pub lunchday, even the bratkartoffeln were beautiful. the waitress, danielle was informatiw, friendly and a credit to her. the parking was also easy, which was a bonus.

Came back from Holiday and stayed overnight. Was looking forward to a decent meal after being in Spain for a week and the Carvery was disappointing. You get to choose 2 kinds of meat so went for the beef and turkey, the beef was chewy (think the guy carving was carving it wrong way) and only 1 slice of turkey and overcooked veg. The yorkshire pudding was the best thing on the hotplate.

This restaurant is a carvery, so you can expect a typical experience. They offer about five vegan dishes to choose from, and you can select your desired items from the carvery. You can enjoy a variety of vegetables, except for the cauliflower cheese dish and possibly one other option. The roast potatoes, veggies, and vegetarian gravy are all vegan-friendly. You can return to the carvery station as many times as you like, making it a good value. They also offer a couple of vegan dessert options, although I did not try them. The pub itself may be a bit run-down compared to other branches of Toby.

I have mixed feelings about this place due to their poor customer management. The customer service is subpar and it seems to stem from the management. The staff members are generally decent, but it appears that they lack proper training or direction. The atmosphere is lacking and the restaurant seems to be overwhelmed with dirty dishes. Communication with customers is lacking and the overall operation is flawed. While the food is okay, my roast pork was undercooked this time, which was disappointing. Firstly we should say how happy we are with the room, location and easiness to find etc, the room was huge, clean, fairly modern with tonnes of plugs n usbs etc etc, very comfy twin bed we managed to push together.... we ate in the evening taking advantage of the old school carvery and the price was really fair, great quality carvery, absolutely burst our bellies, but! we still managed to have a honeycomb and chocolate sundae in bed later on..... ...but breakfast though? we came down to an empty host station, empty bar etc, waited for about 8 mins, then a manager approached with a sour face/morning face, asked us if we had paid......twice she asked us if we had paid, we paid online....£6 for...

Overall a good experience. Check-in was slow but it's fine. You check-in via the restaurant side, after that you're granted 24 HR access to the hotel side via key FOB. If you have a vehicle, register it at check-in and you won't have to pay for parking. Keep in mind that if you're late for last check-in you may have no access to your room (which is clearly stated in the mail sent to you prior). Hotel room was clean, toilet was clean. Housekeeping was great. Remember to bring your own slippers because they don't give you a one time use. My first visit here. Came up from Bournemouth to help move my son into a new place on Friday. I stayed here overnight and also had dinner in the carvery. I had booked a table for 7.30 but my son was help up at so changed to 8 then to 8.30. This was no problem at all for them. Staff were really welcoming, helpful and friendly, two in particular were excellent. I have a LivingSocial voucher that offered two courses for 2 people for just £18.99.
