I come here all of the time and the team are lovely and the food is exceptional . So amazing it’s like my favourite place on earth the Mac and cheese and gravy are my favourites and I always get gammon. My mouth is watering leaving this review

Been here several times and always been good but today is the second time when we went I had to ask for a bit more meat the guy who was carving gave us 2 small amounts of meat and very thin that thin you could see through it I was not happy at all

Met up 10am for breakfast, no plates so my colleague picked up a carvery plate the chef (who is deaf) was waving his hands snatched the plate explaining it was the wrong one! We eventually got the right plate straight from the dishwasher soaking wet ! Ver carta

Food great as always, service was second to none, I just hope that the company provide our serving host, Gracie with footwear, as the amount of miles she must’ve walked, was incredible!!!! She literally never stopped, bless her, nothing was too much bother, she is a real asset to the place!!

Me and my friend went for Dinner all I can say is from arriving the service was 100 Very quickly and professional we got a table. Then the waitress asked what we wanted and ordered our drinks . Even when we went for our carvery the chefs behind the counter were very professional and polite . All staff went above and beyond .The food was lovely we really enjoyed it. I am sure the waitress was called Santana . We will be back .

We landed at Newcastle Airport at 1pm from a trip to Ireland. My daughter picked us up, and we came for a carvery lunch before travelling home to North Northumberland. The carvery was as good as always although we were unaware that an offer of half price main courses was current. Family 4 adults having carvery, all had different meats. Presentation on the hot plate looked delicious, the guy serving the meats was really helpful, happy had great customer service skills with everyone! Food was hot, well seasoned cooked superbly. Dauphinoise potatoes Cauliflower cheese was amazing! Roasties were cooked well, lots of fresh vegetables to choose from, Yorkshire puddings gravy were perfect! Lady who served our table was polite, efficient seemed happy in her work. All round lovely afternoon which we all really enjoyed. Thank you!

Not a bad place, usual Carvery set up. This time I chose to have a Pork sandwich, usually I have the carvery. Requested brown bread, sandwich arrived with white bread, but bizarrely NO SPREAD on the sandwich of any kind! I mentioned this to the waitress, who seemed to think it odd that I'd expect a sandwich to have spread of some kind in a sandwich . This left the sandwich rather dry, especially as the meat wasn't freshly sliced off their main carvery joint as I assumed it would be, but seemed to be cold from the fridge. The tomato soup to start with was to my taste) delicious but it was downhill from there. Despite lots of empty tables in the restaurant there was a wait unless you ate in the bar area. I couldn 't see the difference between the two so rather than waiting I chose the bar area. There is a difference however: in the latter you have to order, and pay at the bar which involves separate trips for drinks starters puddings etc., At the carvery deck the carver on my visit seemed miserable to be doing his job and was unwelcoming and unhelpful.
