"I think it was a bit to do with timing as the cabbage and carrots were very dry. I did not select any cabbage. My wife said the Yorkshire pudding did no feel or taste right (I did not have one). This is unusual as normaly everything is very good. This would not stope from returning as I believe it was unfortunate timing."

The beef was all grissle, it was the last piece of the joint. The beer was flat

Really nice roast.... went on a Friday lunchtime and very busy but prefer that as food turnaround better.

Great food and very well presented. Desserts were really good. We all had a Honeycomb Sundae which was lovely. We will eat here again. Thank you.

Good quality food and friendly and attentive staff. The cost for a three course meal for four people was very good value. There is also ample free parking.

We had a lovely lunch today. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. It wasn’t as crowded as I have previously found it but this could be because of the Covid situation

It was a new joint of beef but 50% of that carved was grisly and not edible. The cauliflower was barely cooked, a modern trend but not to my taste. The cabbage was gritty. I have enjoyed much better food with you but today was not great!
