This is our local Toby Carvery and we were served by our favourite waitress, Helen, who even remembered our drinks after so many months. The service was excellent and so was the food. A thoroughly enjoyable evening

So disappointed- haven’t been to carvery for some time. The meats were all excellent and a good choice of vegetables, unfortunately it was tepid. This was at 12.30 when I would’ve thought it would be hot as so early Ver carta

It was a new joint of beef but 50% of that carved was grisly and not edible. The cauliflower was barely cooked, a modern trend but not to my taste. The cabbage was gritty. I have enjoyed much better food with you but today was not great!

I think it was a bit to do with timing as the cabbage and carrots were very dry. I did not select any cabbage. My wife said the Yorkshire pudding did no feel or taste right (I did not have one). This is unusual as normaly everything is very good. This would not stope from returning as I believe it was unfortunate timing.
