Despite the vegetables being nice and firm, there was not much of a choice and was unappealing for a vegetarian. Also a lack of Condiments e.g no mint sauce or cranberry sauce.

Everything was exactly what I’ve come to expect , good food , a nice atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff one of my favourite places to eat locally , very good value for money

Absolute joke of a restaurant booked a table in advance turned up to be told no vegetables as issue in the kitchen no phone call from them even though they had staff standing around avoid Toby hemel Hempstead. Ver carta

The restaurant was clearly very busy, with no seats available at the counters as people waited for their meals. There were no sauces available without gravy, and everything that you might want to order was unavailable. There was also no guidance provided for the menu.

Terrible experience. Very cold as air conditioning was set too high. When we went for our food told NO turkey and we should have been told that on entry. We weren’t. When we saw what was on offer for the vegetables we found just four varieties plus potatoes. Stodgy spinach peas carrots and cauliflower cheese. NOT SATISFIED SO WE WALKED OUT!!!!!!!

We made a reservation for two adults and five children in the morning while heading to the restaurant. However, I received a call informing me that they were closed due to a water leak. We were all very disappointed and struggled to find another place, as everything was fully booked. The evening turned out to be terrible, and we ended up arguing because we had nowhere else to go. While the meat selection was good and quite tasty, it was ultimately a bit disappointing. The choices were limited; there was no cauliflower, broccoli, or carrots. The carrots were so hard they were nearly raw, and although I usually enjoy my veggies with a bit of crunch, this was excessive. The macaroni and cheese was so dry that it was almost inedible. The fried potatoes looked nice but lacked crispiness, and the Yorkshire puddings were as flat as pancakes. On a positive note, the staff were polite and efficient, and the overall cleanliness of the place was commendable.

When we arrived nice smile, waitress was nice. What we wanted was Yorkie wraps. None ready I understand that they would take half hour to cook but, we should have been told that they off menu when we were given menu. Had the roast...beef was beautiful but. When carving string was thrown on floor!!!!. You could throw the roast pots over cooked ,had to ask for gravey. Sides needed wiping down but, it was the afternoon so very quiet. Having worked in hospitality I know what I'm talking about.we have been before and it was nice so very very disappointed with what was experienced on this visit

My family and I are not happy at all, we waiting two weeks to finally be able to get a booking on a Sunday as gets booked very quickly and we were supposed to have a table at 4pm. When we arrived the reception desk said that the kitchen had issues with appliances and they couldn’t Cook anymore food until the maintenance staff arrived and they didn’t have any clue as to when this would happen so they sent us away. We were so disappointed and should have been called so we didn’t make the visit! When we were getting back in to the car we saw other people arriving and not getting sent away!!
