"I didn't stay at this restaurant, but I discovered it while exploring the area. It's definitely worth a visit, especially for the mussels! I recommend arriving early to ensure you get a table. The staff is friendly, although the service can be a bit slow. I went there two days in a row, and I found that other restaurants had a much worse attitude, but the people here were much more accommodating. The burgers, pasta, and seafood are all fantastic. If you can snag a table or have to wait for one, it’s definitely worth it!"

The famous Tongadale in Portree is truly the best pub in the world. It's always a pleasure to visit!

This is a very friendly and welcoming pub that serves delicious food and drinks. They made a big fuss over our dog, and now he pulls to go back every time we walk by!

The bar was great! Chatted with some great people that were bellied up to the bar. We are from the U.S. and they made us feel right at home. A couple of locals explained the ship compass that is near the bar. Had a great time!

I stayed two nights at Tongadale hotel during my Isle of Skye tour with Timberbush Tours Ltd. The hotel stay was great. My room on the third floor had a fantastic view of the Cuillin Mountains and the waters. The staff were so friendly and helpful.The room was super clean and comfy-felt like home. Next time I visit Portree, I will stay at Tongadale again. Highly recommended.
