We popped in for a long promised lunch. Very fast and friendly service , excellent food and decent coffee. No room for cake but we bought takeaway cake for late and it too was excellent

Fantastic cakes, fantastic service and tasty too. A hidden gem indeed! Toastie was made with proper hunks of bread with decent filling, my husband's burger looked ok and my son demolished the macaroni cheese. Cakes were amazing! Looking forward to coming back! Ver carta

We had an enjoyable Sunday lunch after visiting an excellent seamstress next door (Hermione Edge Wear). Service was quick and friendly and the food very good value with large portions. The sausages with onion gravy in a Yorkshire pudding were especially brilliant. The place was comfortable and, very importantly, the toilet was clean and tidy.

I stayed at the Sky Lodge accommodation and found this cafe to be conveniently located, especially with my disability health conditions that make it difficult for me to travel long distances. The only thing I didn't like was that they cook their foods in GMO oils. They do inform you about this, but I only noticed the message on the menu after I finished my meal. Despite that, I really enjoyed dining at the cafe.

If it weren't for a recommendation, I might never have found this restaurant, but I'm glad I did and decided to give it a chance. The atmosphere was lovely, the service was excellent (with a smile), and the breakfast I ordered was fantastic. It probably tasted even better because I didn't have to make it myself, but it truly was worthy of this positive review. Even the bread they served for toast was delightful. I will definitely recommend this place to others and will be sure to return in the future. Ver carta

A friend who owns an aircraft invited a small group of us to lunch at the Greasy Spoon cafe at the airport. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the reality was much better than expected! The weather was sunny, so the outdoor tables were full. We found a very pleasant seating area inside instead. The menu offered a variety of options including pies, wraps, baked potatoes, all served with salad and chips. The portions were generous and the food was hot and freshly cooked. One of us even described the Coronation Chicken Baked Potato as "to die for."

Love this cafe. The service is fab and the staff all so friendly. The food is delicious, usual café favourites but so well done and prices are so reasonable. Today I had the tastiest BLT , make sure to have the homemade coleslaw you won’t regret it! Have had breakfast previously too which was great. A good selection of baked goods all homemade pies quiches cakes which can also be taken away. But possibly the best thing about this place is how dog friendly they are. There are bowls for water, treats and also a doggy menu. Not to mention how kind the staff are to their four legged visitors. My boy loves visiting after a long walk. Just fantastic thank you

Where do I begin..? Returned to this establishment for the first time since lock down and I certainly wish I hadn 't bothered! Rude staff, an uneasy and cheerless (most certainly negative! vibe pulsing through the place, and as if to add to my worries fresh dog mess underneath one of the chairs in the corner! I mentioned the dog mess to one of the staff, who simply looked at me with a blank, almost impetuous gaze and mumbled it wasn 't there a minute ago, it must have been you! Aghast and amazed, I demanded to speak to the manager... This feeble excuse of a company representative blatantly fobbed me off from the get go! I could smell the faint aroma of pot, even though it was intoxicatingly... Ver carta
