a car ride in retford. this caffe found on the marketplace. I had steak and nierenkuchenchips and inherited. my wife had kartoffels thunfisch and salat. the portion size was exactly right, eating was hot and very frightened. thumbs up...for this caffe

We just happened to be passing and my husband was a bit hungry so we went in and ordered. I have decaf coffee and yes they had it. We both had some breakfast and the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious,...would certainly recommend it.

This cafe is regular visit for us on a sunday. This is down to the great food and welcoming staff who go to great lengths to facilitate everyone. Offer really good service. Good vegetarian options on the menu and excellent lavazza coffee. Would highly recommend...for great value and food and quality service

such good food has always been reliable had never had a bad meal and ive visited often for over 10 years freshly prepared and anyone can have something else, I love the salad the chicken curry is fab and the homemade cakes of the day is beautiful its...a hard working clean caffe with the best eating around very beautiful

everything they could expect from a caffe with this name, just so much better. I think that bangers and mash is a good measure for a caffe. that was really cheap at less than 6 pounds, but was really good. tasty gravure, a huge heap...Garden bass and another boil well boiled bubbling. the sausages were good and very good for the price. I am now filled and very happy!

good choice in the menu. something for everyone. very reasonable prices. good old fashion friendly service. we had thunfisch panini, who came with beautiful fresh salat, coleslaw and cripples. often went by shopping and seems to be always busy. would have preferred a cup of tea instead of cup to get strength right. we also had to wipe out tables. would recommend and we will definitely return.

The Town Best cafe is ideally situated in the attractive Market Place. It’s clearly a very popular place and you can see why. The menu is extensive and includes a large range of hot and cold meals as well as the ubiquitous all day breakfasts,...rolls etc. We just had a couple of bacon and egg rolls with mugs of tea and they hit the spot perfectly. Service was lovely and the prices are most reasonable.

No pretension; it's just a lovely, cafe. Sure, we will all have visited posher cafes in our time, but this one provides you with a warm welcome to regulars and new visitors alike. The food on its traditional British menu, is delicious and served in...quick time, with the kitchen in full view. The staff work hard and make an effort to talk to their customers. Yes, actually talk, which I recognise might not be to everyone's liking, but for some elderly folk in town, it might just be their cup of tea! The liver, bacon, mash, egg and onions are my guilty pleasure! Go, you'll enjoy it!

The “Mega Breakfast” cost £6.70. The service was quick and very clean. The brew was lovely and right to my taste and was placed on my table super speedy. No faults, although not refillable. The breakfast arrived a short while after and was pleasing on...the eye but there were a few things which I noticed. Sausage a single in a “Mega Breakfast” is a bit disappointing and had been pre-sliced prior to cooking. This did not take anything ways from the taste and my only complaint is not having two. Bacon lovely. Cooked well, thick and enough of it! Egg. Only one, and looked like a McMuffin egg, but it was soft and very tasty much nice than a McMuffin egg. Hash Browns Two.
