Our dinner experience started ok and our first impression was we were in a symphatthetic nice restaurant, although the restaurant is located on a very busy road with a lot of polluting air. However, gradually our lunch turned into a dissappointing experience. First of all, there was no baby chair, so we had to keep our 10 months old baby on our lap, which is ok. However, we did not expect to have to pay a coperta for her. That has not happened to us anywhere in Italy, which is generally very child friendly or the rest of the world. Ok, so the food was good. Just such a shame they let themselves down when it came to pay. My Italian may not be great anymore, but I visit the area regularly as my family originates from the area. I know how much I should be paying for things in this area of Italy. On finishing the meal and going up to pay, the manager was totalling up the meal and was just about to hand me the bill when noticed I had my card out to pay. On asking if I was paying by card he returned to the till and quickly totalled up ANOTHER bill. The bill I received was grossly inflated. 2 bowls of pasta. 2 mains (fish) 1 salad. 1 bottle of water 500ml of local ‘house’ wine Totalling €60 !!! Ridiculous price for this area.... Ver carta
