"I used to live round the corner from this Fitzrovia restaurant and I was a complete regular here...with friends, family, godson (I taught him how to smoke in here ,and accountant (with whom I used to get drunk here . Anyway it was his 70th birthday recently so, for old times' sake, we went here, and I had acquired some Viagra, so I gave him 70, one for each year! But the food just wasn't how I remembered although the staff were exactly the same as twenty plus years ago. Drink was the same (but no stiff spirits and the staff didn't just recall me, they even remembered my name (not sure if this was a good thing or not! . Anyway we had a good time, but it wasn't down to the food. Our bill for three people was £250...so, it isn't that cheap. But it is friendly and casual, and when it's warm you sit outside and watch the Fitzrovia crowd."

Just like you walked into some Italians house and they made you dinner. No frills or bells. As my friends would say really really cozy. Its not hard to find like.

Excellent restaurant. Great food. Salmon was amazing as was the Ravioli. My husband had snails, again fantastic. Good atmosphere and traditional Italian music. We would definitely return.

We had a plate of Parma ham and Salamies for starter and Osso Boco for main course. Nothing very fancy but very tastefull and reasonably priced. Attentive and friendly waiter. We'll be back.

Nothing pretentious but solid local reliable Italian cooking that never disappoints. Great for early dining with kids or stay late for a relaxed evening. Friendly staff who obviously enjoy what they are doing.

A few courses are really well cooked and tasty, like you could eat in a true Italian trattoria. However, the pizza is really disappointing and pales into insignificance behind the unique, true Italian pizza. The staff is very courteous and welcoming.

Poor quality pizza, unhappy looking waiter, expensive, £3 for a can of coke (waiter was embarrassed about this), uncooked of pizza, TINY pizza, poor ingredients, service included. Not the quality of food you should expect from an Italian restaurant. Don't waste your money.

We booked this place as it looked nice and was convenient to our hotel,which was busy with Christmas parties.very cosy place,welcoming,efficient owners.we chose the 3 course Christmas special,good choices in each course,well cooked and presented,lovely bottle of Chianti.perfect for our wedding anniversary.

We literally fell into this cute restaurant for an early dinner after a long day of walking. We were considering going to the sainsbury's round the corner for a take away sandwich because we hadn't found anywhere to eat on our way back to the hotel. Oh boy, what a find! What a brilliant place you're welcomed like family and instantly made to feel at home. The service is laid back without being slow and the waiter is attentive without being overbearing. Beautiful food, cold (Italian! beer and a really lovely, cosy envrionment. Next time we're in this area of London, we'll definately be coming back.
