"I had heard a lot about the authenticity of Turkish Kitchen and had been wanting to visit for quite some time, especially after living in Turkey for several years. The meze were fresh and enjoyable, but the main course arrived before we had finished our starters, which was a bit inconvenient. The lamb shish was on the small side and overcooked, while my wife's special chicken was quite good. I appreciated the option to bring our own wine without a corkage fee, but the atmosphere felt more like a café than a restaurant. Overall, I left feeling disappointed and, unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning. There are better Turkish restaurants in the city center."

We ordered kunefe, a very popular dessert in Turkey, but the quality was far below average. It was dry and poorly prepared.

I had heard a lot about the authenticity of Turkish cuisine and had been meaning to try this restaurant for quite some time, especially since I lived in Turkey for several years. The meze was beautiful and fresh, but unfortunately, the main course arrived before we had finished the meze, which was quite frustrating. The lamb shish was on the smaller side and overcooked, but my wife enjoyed her special dish. It was nice that we could bring our own wine without being charged a corkage fee, but the atmosphere felt more like a café than a restaurant. Overall, I was disappointed and won't be returning. There are better Turkish restaurants in the city center.

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
