Overall nix with Petri Heil and especially in competition with the Sopoa de pescado in La Paella, the pot would not have had the quietest touch of a chance. At the sight of Cordon Bleu (EUR 25.50 from the Luxembourger Landschwein with fireplace ham and Münsterkäse as well as Pommes Frites and supplemental salad I was very amazed, but I had not had this dish on the plate in the course of my years of poor life. What came today was not flat or more or less cushion-shaped, but as roller-shaped as a roving, but considerably thicker. An absolutely new experience for me! There were very crispy fries and a supplemental salad, which I passed directly to my wife. The price of EUR 25,50 included that the cheese used is Münsterkäse; with undefined cheese, the dish would have cost only EUR 23.00. In contrast to my wife, I did not notice anything from the very intense Münsterkäse taste, otherwise the court, unlike my appetizer, was absolutely convinced me. But it was so powerful that I, actually known as a good eater, had to leave a small quarter of the roll; my wife gave her best and managed to handle about two thirds of it. Then she was on her evening. : Conclusion: My sweetheart was very satisfied with his food choice, while I had unfortunately also drawn a rivet in addition to a jackpot; more than three stars can therefore not exist for the Bererich Essen. And with the next Unter der Linde visit we will not leave us another four years but a little time; my dentist today recommended the Auberge Rouge (formerly Gasthof Pulvermüller) located next to the Linde."

Nice place which overestimates its food. Too small to feel comfortable in. We ate fish lasagne which appeared to be too fatty for me. The starter salad had too much oil and vinegar

This is a lovely bistro style restaurant with great food and large portions. There is a good range on the menu and daily specials, so something for everyone. It is popular but it is possible to get a table in or out without booking.

....Why not so ....after a walk on the spicy heights ... we stood before a closed roll ... After a city tour by taxi to several villages, ALL ....and that we finally landed on Wednesday in August at St Arnual near Jürgen Becker....and, despite the late time 21:30, were still at our expense culinary.

We were in St. Arnuel for the 7th International Kunst and Geniessermarkt. The service was great until 2315hrs when attempted to order aditional wine. The owner (Jürgen) informed our table to leave, go someplace else. There was hospitality the owner. He was just plan rude. That was first and the last time I will spend my money at Unter der Linde.

Liked this restaurant. Nice location on an old Saarbrueck square surrounded by old houses & church. One doesn´t come across locations like that too often in Saarbruecken. As for the food, this is definately an upgrade in comparison with the first restaurant Zahm in SB. Better card, more original food, more creativity. The restaurant itself looks cosy & modern at the same time. Especially whenever the owner Jurgen is around, be sure to ask for wine recommendations and wines off the wine card. All in all the food is correct though not upscale, very good price / quality ratio and pleasant environment. I certainly recommend a visit here though parking could be better.
