Had a fabulous time here with a group of 13 friends for a birthday meal. The food was delicious. Lots of choice. Staff are attentive and friendly and also gorgeous cocktails.

first of all the decor was outdated must of been atleast 40 years old the pasta was dry and the mince were soggy and tasted bland the worst on carisbrooke high strret if u want to get something to eat in carisbrooke avoid at all costs

Absolutely excellent. Great service, friendly efficient staff. Steak with Stilton and port was fabulous. Nice selection of vegetables accompanied it. He had tornados Rossini…..that was excellent too. Dessert nice. Now in my top 3 is restaurants on the island. Will certainly be going back.

We had heard of this place through friends, so thought we would give it ago. I am so pleased we did, this place is homely, staff are friendly and the meals are delicious, huge portions! which was a very nice treat compared to most places, with there tiny portions that are over priced, I would highly recommend this place. Easy to book, lovely decoration and atmosphere. Very welcoming restaurant. Good choice on the menu, which also caters for a family member who is gluten free. I’m a bit fussy with what I like and this restaurant always makes me a tailor made meal which I absolutely love. The food is so tasty our family love it here, especially for a special occasion.

Valentinos is the go to restaurant in Carisbrooke for a reason the menu is consistently good from basic pasta to extravagant chateaubriand and all points in between. Service is prompt and friendly. The decor hasn't been upgraded in a long time, which might put off a first timer, but once you're settled in you won't notice. Kid friendliness: Bring the family! Service: Dine in

Oh dear, such nice staff and good service but the food was really poor. Maybe we chose badly but it all reminded me of a three star hotel in the 70s. We had the £22 set three course menu, good price for three courses. We both started with a mushroom and asparagus fusilli dish. Sauce honestly tasted like a cheap dried packet mix, almost pot noodle like. The Parmesan was absolutely tasteless and I quite like the stuff you get in a cardboard tube. For mains I had a pork dish served in exactly the same mushroom sauce the pasta had been served in and husband had a spinach roulade. Pork overcooked and dry, roulade bland and almost unpleasant.
