Velocity Cafe Bicycle Workshop

This restaurant is a true hidden gem! The dishes are incredibly decadent - we especially enjoyed the tofu bahn mi bagel sandwich and the GF breakfast options. We also couldn't resist getting a takeaway GF/vegan brownie. The ambiance is absolutely incredible - wow!

Every time I'm in Inverness, I make sure to visit Velocity. And I always suggest it to friends. Most recently, my partner and I popped in for breakfast and walked out feeling nourished in more ways than one. I love the hearty and healthy food as well as the warm atmosphere!

I give it 1 star because it doesn't allow zero. Velocity only has the name, very very slow, my clothes filled with the smell of food, the coffee tasteless, 25 minutes to make 2 totally bland scrambled eggs. Very expensive for what they offer. 4 people serving and they are slower than a snail. Horrible experience.

We recently visited this lovely cafe as we were passing through Inverness. The cafe has a lovely feel with loads of vegetarian and vegan options, to the extent that I struggled to chose! The staff were very friendly and were even kind enough to switch my bagel as I forgot to say vegan option when ordering! Also would recommend the biscoff pancakes

This place was so good, in every way. The food was fresh and so full of flavor. I had the squash bagel and my partner enjoyed the cooked breakfast. Our daughter had the blueberry pancakes. The bagel was so yum, I’ve never had anything like it and the flavor combination was to die for. The staff working were happy, chatty and made our experience at their cafe even better. They also played great music! Thanks for having us!

I’ve been here twice for lunch and both times it was lovely. It’s a busy place with a good vibe. The food is very fresh and although the service is a bit slow I believe it must be because they take the time to make your food so it arrives super hot and fresh. I had the soup which was piping hot and delicious. And the guacamole toast which was so fresh and flavourful. Absolutely worth waiting for. Sorry no photo for the toast.

I was excited to discover this hidden gem located just a short walk up the hill from the east side of the city center. The restaurant offers delicious vegetarian food in a community space that also serves as a cafe and bike workshop. It's a cool spot that is not only good for the taste buds and belly, but also for people and the planet. I particularly enjoyed the oyster mushroom gyro. Also, a special shout out to the server who is a fan of Billy Strings!

I visited this cafe on my daughters recommendation,,,,,,,,and had a great experience! Service was fantastic, I simply had a coffee but my daughter says their food is outstanding. They are also super dog friendly, so my collie got tons of attention which he loves! The decor and artwork on the walls is fab and in soothing shades of blue,,,,,I like that the cafe is a social enterprise and hosts community events,,,,a great find,,,,I highly recommend a visit...

So disappointing.... waited for ages for a veggie breakfast for £13.95...! The smokey beans weren't smokey, the eggs were snotty, the hashbrown was dry and tasteless, one measly bit of spinich and top it off it wasn't even a whole slice of sourdough AWFUL. 5 of us ate and none of us were satisfied. If you're going to charge so much for a veggie breakfast it needs to be VERY good this was not. The haggis and black pudding were really good but other that nothing positive to say. When going to pay we were not even asked how our food was. The was a table full of food where other customers had clearly felt as disappointed as we were. We only ate it as we were starving.
