Had a lovely Sunday roast today, really good. Place was buzzing but staff very attentive. Hidden gem.

Popped in for an evening meal, and it was lovely! All homemade food and great service and staff. It’s a quiet old pub with character, a really pleasant time!

A small birthday lunch for a year old parent. Warm welcome at the Victoria, friendly service and great food. The game pie and creme brulee deserve special mention. Super village pub. Highly recommended.

We were going home early due to bad self catering accommodation,and we decided on a Sunday lunch before we left for home.What a great idea this turned out to be as the staff were happy,friendly and very accommodating. We left well fed and cheered up.

Stopped here on way to our holiday home and have to say from the moment we arrived the staff and service was fantastic. Very helpful, good service, so dog friendly which is a great bonus. The food was delicious, along with good size portions. Good...value for money and the service was so friendly and welcoming too. We will be back when we visit the area again . Thanks for the hospitality.

We stopped at The Victoria Inn after a country hike for a Sunday Roast. We both opted for the Roast Beef (large) which was delicious. Came with all the trimmings, cooked perfectly and we both liked how the gravy was served on the side ..you could have as much or as little as you wanted. The service was excellent friendly and down-to-earth people. Absolute value for money! Definitely recommend.

Always a very warm welcome here, it is such a friendly pub. Roaring fire, very cosy, you just want to stay! Had the Sunday roast this time and it was perfect, just like mum makes. Probably the best pub roast we have had in ages,...piping hot, loads of veg, tender meat and lashings of gravy! Sorry doggies but there was none left for you! Not to be missed, a gem in the heart of the South Downs National Park

One of the best pub meals I've ever had (I had the minted lamb with dauphinoise potatoes), up there with some of the best food I've had in a restaurant full stop. Also had the halloumi fries and the sticky toffee pudding. Went with my...wife who is coeliac and they catered fully for her and were very good at explaining exactly what was/wasn't GF, which is hard to find in local pubs! Will definitely come again when we are back in the area. Don't go anywhere else!
