Villa Cuba - Carta

we all liked this mix of German and Caribbean saloon. good food and service. good location in the center of göttingen.

when they enter this restaurant, they are no longer in Germany. it looks like they have gone back in time. the device is incredible! the service was excellent. eat delicious. it is a very good place for lunch or dinner.

excellent Cuban atmosphere without the need to put money into the cassses of the Castro regime, as it would bring a more actual visit to the island dictatorship. great drinks by friendly bar staff; we just came for the drinks and have to come back for the food. Ver carta

is nicely decorated and eating is good. I wasn't so hungry, so I ordered a tapa as a main dish (meatballs). they were really delicious and the food my friends ordered also looked good. the colourful and fruity drinks were appealing. but the music was very loud and we couldn't hear it was frustrating.

we visit this restaurant during a business trip to göttingen germany. we were here for dinner. eating was very good to excellent, the service was very good and the price for eating was great. the drinks and the atmosphere of the place are also great. we strongly recommend this rest. when they visit the city.

I was there with a group of friends to have a brunch on Sunday morning. we haven't reserved a table, but at 10 o'clock the place was quite empty so we didn't have any problems. Anyway, if they want to go there later, they should do better, because at 12 the place was pretty crowded. the service is good, good eating and good breakfast, maybe not so much choice for vegetarians. the selection was quite large. the place is also beautiful. the service in the night is in order, but never go to the breakfast. is the worst service I have never experienced. we have been there a few times, because there are only a few restaurants in gö and a Sunday morning is always full, and this was a nightmare four times! when the waitresses were fast, we just have to wait 1:30h. the service is expensive, bad, the waitresses are inexperienced, respectless and they will never get what they order.

villa cuba offers a variety of possibilities. In the morning you can have breakfast and have enough choice. but if they are in the city, because it is near the market in the city, in order to start the lunch or dinner, everything is possible. they can actually stay later in the evening after dinner even for cocktails and other drinks. that is really a full-day opportunity. prices are comparable to other places in göttingen, but not the cheapest. eating is quite good despite the great selection of eating. it looks very nice from the inside with the Cuba theme, something different from other restaurants, and they have a small terrace outside on the back when there is nice weather.

I was not particularly hungry / we were not particularly hungry. I ordered tomato soup with thymian, while my dame lemongrass soup ordered. tomatensuppe is a "creme soup" - which is usual - I would give a little sour cream into the middle to make the suppe a bit more radiant and a little more mixed - from which looked sour from the tomate to the weakened - but it was still good. lemongrass soup was not what we had expected - we had expected a little more of the "soup to Thai art" - it was a cream soup and the taste was somewhat unusual. I was not particularly satisfied with the taste, but my lady tasted it. then we shared a "mixed seafood" dish with yams (Orangen sweet potatoes). it was in a... Ver carta
