If I could add zero stars I would. We ordered food and beer and nothing happened. We told two more waitresses and still nothing. After more than 30 minutes we left. Avoid!

We went in because it was full of Germans a good sign. The waitress spoke English (albeit with an American accent), and the menu was available in English. The bill (inclduding drinks) was €60.

this is a detached house in Neukölln, which has character. the natives come here and sit for hours. we had a long evening (3 hours) eating and chatting, just having a wonderful time! this facility also accepts credit card. not so often. in Germany. eating is classic German style and in good quantities. the calf liver and icy bone were excellent. this is also a great place for larger groups.

Pourvu que ce genre d endroits reste préservé de la pression immobilière. Nous y sommes allés une chaude soirée d août et c est vraiment le type d adresse à conseiller dans ces conditions. Après la chaleur d une journée d août cet endroit paisible, paysager et à la déco bien typique de Kreuzberg est vraiment bonheur. Côté cuisine nous avons testé une pizza et un Sauerbraten tous les 2 délicieux.

Today, 10 Aug, my German friend took me to this restaurant to have real German food experience. The garden area is beautiful and the service is nice. Then food (grills for 3) arrived. Looked perfect! But!....The bird leg (duck or goose) had live crawling warms...inside!!!!! We were so traumatized! Never I had experienced anything like that even though I travelled the world North and South, East and West!...Never again!!!!

Brought colleagues here and ALL agreed best meal they had in Berlin. Beef Roulade with mashed and red cabbage just like Mom used to make. Went for dinner a second evening to have the Pickled Knuckle of Pork Eisbein ; a rare treat. Not only excellent...traditional German food, great people and service, but ample potions and very reasonably priced. Do not miss a visit to Villa Rixdorf. I will certainly return on future trips to the area.

Was visiting a friend in Berlin and wanted to get some authentic German Style Food. Ordered a Veal Schnitzel, Roast Pork with Cabbage and Stuffed Chicken Breast which were all huge portions (but were able to be finished easily). Finished off with an Apple Strudel....Staff were friendly, relaxed and happy to have a chat. Beer Garden was a large relaxing space. Definitely recommended for tourist looking for a taste of traditional German food.

We visited Villa Rixdorf twice during a week’s stay and rate it as some of our most convivial dining experiences in Berlin. This place is very homely with no pretensions but is very good at serving up traditional German fayre which is tasty, hearty and...honest. We were welcomed on both occasions by friendly waiting staff and served promptly. On the second occasion we sat on the terrace out the front which has lovely views of the square in Rixdorf. We found this a peaceful and convivial gem in the middle of hectic Berlin and we would definitely return. It’s a busy place and we booked ahead on both occasions.

this is an excellent place for traditional German fayre to excellent trips. with beautiful weather, sitting inside and outside on the terrace. the environment is also quite busy in an interesting part of berlin. we have eaten and returned here several times because the quality of the food and the pleasant environment. probably recommended to book what we used to do on the same day, where we were warmly welcomed. I had the sourded and my partner the bark liver. both were delicious, traditional and were served immediately with generous portions. my partner ordered a second beer, and that is where the complications began as they brought two beers to the table after the waitress had actually rea...
