Frankie and Benny's attempts to be a clean and comfortable accommodation with authentic Italian cuisine in the restaurant, but ultimately falls short.

First time here. Good atmosphere and lovely food staff were very helpful and the reataraunt has a good drink selection at a good price cant wait to go back.

It's been a while since we last visited, but the experience was just as fantastic as we remembered. We loved the updated decor and the service and food were amazing. You won't be disappointed! Ver carta

I had a fantastic experience during my first visit to this restaurant and I will definitely be returning. The food was amazing, the service was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. Thank you for a wonderful time.

We had a fantastic evening with five of us at the restaurant. The staff were friendly and helpful in assisting us to navigate the extensive menu. They even suggested smaller portions for us older individuals. It is an exceptional place to visit for a special occasion. I have visited before for a special celebration and found the price range to be reasonable.

Server was surly. Starters arrived, 2 of which garlic mushrooms, were not as described on the menu and completely overpowered by garlic, no bread offered which was needed with this dish. Seafood risotto arrived, far too much rice and very over cooked, not seasoned, little flavour and stodgy. Seafood was also flavourless apart from one mussel which was not pleasant to taste. Left most of the dish. The server wasn’t interested at all. Drinks were served with fingers on the rims of glasses. Won’t be going again. Ver carta

I was very disappointed with my dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered the pork masala for £18, which did not come with a side dish. It was immediately apparent that the pork was processed and the sauce came from a packet. The mushrooms in the sauce were soggy and seemingly not fresh, indicating that the sauce was likely mass-produced. The chips were thin and appeared to be cheap frozen ones. The entire meal ended up costing nearly £22, which I found unacceptable for the quality of the food. I have had better meals at Wetherspoons. My friends also felt let down by their dishes and we have no intention of returning to this restaurant.

It had been many years since my last visit to this restaurant, which I always found enjoyable. This time, I ordered the veal escalope, but it was hard to see the meat because it was hidden under the sauce. The breadcrumbs on the veal were only an eighth of an inch thick, 5 inches long, and approximately 2 inches wide. Unfortunately, they were not cooked enough and ended up being soggy. My wife also did not enjoy her vegetable lasagne. When I expressed my disappointment to the owner, they didn't seem too concerned, but did acknowledge that the coating on the veal was indeed soggy. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience for both my wife and myself.

Booked for 7-30 and told we would have to wait a few minutes for our table and were TOLD by the guy to go to the bar for a drink i replied there is no room at the bar as it was packed with people also waiting for there table for the second sitting at 7-30,some 30 minutes later i asked the same guy how long for our table his RUDE reply was people for the 5-30pm sitting are still at there table what do you want me to do throw them out well if the reservation is for 2 hours then surely the customers could politely be asked to leave especially when they had NO drinks and just sitting there at 8pm, we eventually got our table at 8-25pm and other people that were waiting had exactly the same issue...
