Great atmosphere, very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble! Lovely Sunday roast! Will definitely be back. Visited everyday during our bank holiday stay!

Came here for drinks and dinner. Clean and friendly with a chilled atmosphere. The food was good and plenty of it. It was busy but didn’t have to wait long for our food. Dog friendly .

Absoutely loved this pub not only is it dog friendly but the atmosphere here is just great me and my partner had lovely evening and the staff are so helpful and kind. I would definitely come again. Ver carta

We stumbled upon this restaurant during our anniversary getaway. The wine was good and the food was delicious. I highly recommend the BBQ chicken strips. Sherry was a fantastic host. We will definitely be coming back.

This restaurant in Bowness serves one of the best roast dinners I've ever had. The Yorkshire puddings are massive and delicious. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is always nice. I always look forward to dining here.

Went for a week away with friends. Came across the village inn and we decided to give it a go. Wow the staff our amazing anything we asked for they could do. Even gave us a couple of free shots as we was there for a hen party. Manager made sure that we was happy the hole time and the food was out of this world. Went with my family of 6 one of which being a toddler, the staff was lovely and I couldn’t fault the service. My toddler suffers with spaces that are too over-stimulant however he absolutely loved it here the staff encouraged him to play with his toys he has brought with him, as he isn’t really a fan of colouring. The atmosphere was just great and I couldn’t knock the food the whole table really enjoyed everything about the experience. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a great atmosphere and brilliant food!!

Visited early on a Sunday afternoon after travelling to Lakes for a 2 night stay. I’d assessed food options chose Village Inn as it offered new potatoes or jackets which everywhere else seems to just offer chips. I ordered a steak with salad side order jacket potato (no new potatoes available). Food was nice reasonably priced I also used my NHS discount which was a bonus. People around me were having the Sunday lunch which looked very good, Yorkshire puddings were huge. You can just walk in but as I was alone I booked a table on line to make sure I got a table. I would definitely eat here again due to price of food. Everywhere in lakes seem to be hiking prices up unreasonably.

I had been out for a lovely walk in the area and whilst staying over close by one of the locals when having a coffee recommended this little place to try . So as i like to try new places why not. And i can say i wasnt disappointed. From first seeing the place from the outside it was lovely and seemed very inviting. Lovely seating area . Walking in it was tastefully decorated and modern .
